UPDATE V2.1: Fixed problem with building new streets in Enbesa (see comment section). If needed, replace V2.0 with V2.1.

What does this mod?

  • Adds the Enbesian desert and paved street to the Old World (OW) / Cape / New World construction menu.
  • For the paved street the associated Enbesian paved bridge is included.

This mod is for...

  • Players who would like to have more variation within their cities.
  • Small towns / suburbs / mediterranean looking streets as the Enbesian paved street looks like an first evolution step from the dirt street up to the OW / NW paved streets.

Construction / Settings:

  • Enbesian paved street is overbuildable by the OW / NW-paved street and vice versa (desert street too, of course). This supports the intended evolution steps like in Anno 1503 as well as deconstruction.
  • Instead of Enbesian mud bricks you need OW / NW bricks.
  • I set the speedfactor of the Enbesian paved street to 1.3. That´s a little bit less than the default value of the OW-paved street (1.5). I highlined the codeline where you can change this value.

UPDATE: Since Version V2.0 speedfactor is set back to 1.5 since speed is crucial in the New World. Change when ever you want.

  • Streets are fully functional (public service, transport, electricity (& lightning mod), palace etc etc.).
  • No Enbesian texture for rail-crossing and canal bridge (CDLC). Game automatically uses OW-street for rail-crossing and canal bridge.

Where can I find the streets?

  • Menu sorted by population tier: Farmers / Jornaleros, next to dirt street
  • Menu sorted by building typ: City, next to dirt street
  • Unlocked at 200 Farmers / Jornaleros

Supported Languages:

  • Most standard languages (from chinese to spanish), if you find a mistake or have a better translation, feel free to comment.
