v3 release in all 3 flavors. Support for New World Rising DLC and fixed a bug introduced in this version of the game that prevented the gas power plant from receiving the storage increase.
Change/increase the numbers in this lines for each GUID. <IndustrializationDistance>250</IndustrializationDistance> <FullSatisfactionDistance>250</FullSatisfactionDistance> <NoSatisfactionDistance>250</NoSatisfactionDistance>
If you look at the file in the original assets <IndustrializationDistance>2500</IndustrializationDistance> <FullSatisfactionDistance>2500</FullSatisfactionDistance> <NoSatisfactionDistance>2500</NoSatisfactionDistance> That is what they were set before the new settings
There is a small error in one line I have tested it in the Game
That is not quite right <ModOp Type="merge" GUID="117547" Path="/Values/FactoryBase/FactoryInputs/Item/Product/StorageAmount">
So the line is correct <ModOp Type="merge" GUID="117547" Path="/Values/FactoryBase/FactoryInputs/Item/StorageAmount">
And in this line is also a small error because here at the GUID ' instead of " stands <ModOp Type="merge" GUID='5164' Path="/Values/FactoryBase/FactoryInputs/Item/StorageAmount">
With GU17 update the devs have now patched in their own mod loader, so the game no longer requires the third party mod loader for this.
To make mods work follow steps below.
- delete both older mod loader python files from Bin folder - get Ubisoft Connect to verify Anno 1800 game files. This is a game repair and will cause it to regenerate one missing python file that was just deleted. It replaces it with original made by devs as the one from mod loader mod was edited for mod loader mod, that's why it must be deleted and replaced with un-modded original. - make sure all mods in mods folder are updated to be current game version. Delete unneeded Cache folder from mods folder. Start game and you should see new pop up window on main menu acknowledging mods. If it does not, start a new game, then quit game and reload to main menu, then pop up window should come up on second attempt. (Like many players I had to do this too to get it on second attempt.)

Edit: Does not work when when installed via Vortex for some reason. When installed manually it works
