I guess there's an interface between the game and Corsair's iCue software because every time I get a speeding violation my PC LEDs flash blue and red. Neat but costs $1200 every time I do it.
My idea was, that since the game is in fact nowhere near actual truck driving simulation, I may as well turn it into an arcade. Seems like the devs had the same idea. ETS2 is all about driving and serious stuff. ATS is more about grand vistas and exploring the land. The truck physics is very arcady compared to ETS2, a whole bunch of unmarked roads encouraging exploration... Realism clearly wan't the priority with ATS.
Yup - being overtaken by a semi tanker - with an extra trailer- while doing 110 km/h down a mountain on a Canadian highway. Speed limit 130. Guess I was a bit shaken - not stirred. Welcome to the big country
Perfectly normal by larger countries standards. Also... the speedometer ends at 85 mph. No idea what my real speed was. Trucks without trailers can be scary fast.
