About this mod

This mod provides changes to some underused attachments and weapons, the attachments have gained buffs and new effects, while the weapons can accept different attachments than usual
This should create new combinations and playstyles and draw attention to weapons that are typically underused, even without giving the weapons any direct buffs.

What's New


I) WEAPONS

EVA Laser Pistol - accepts internal magazine attachments instead of the fixed battery, large muzzle and large optics instead of medium (grants access to large muzzles and optics to some classes)

Type 21 Semiauto Shotgun - uses large muzzle and large magazine, instead of medium

CQW Flamer - accepts two barrel attachments at once, does not accept optics attachments anymore

Type 88 Heavy Assault Rifle - uses large magazines instead of medium 

Halberd Rifle - uses large optics instead of medium, increasing its power 

Ballista Flechette Sniper Rifle - uses a barrel attachment instead of a muzzle 

X45 Bombard - uses a tubular magazine instead of a medium magazine

X1 Fireball - accepts two barrel attachments at once, does not accept optics attachments anymore

Dambulla Machine Pistol - uses a barrel attachment, instead of small optics



II) ATTACHMENTS (PATHOGEN UPDATE)

Auto-Loader: +25% max ammo, 100% chance to trigger and reload 7% of magazine (old: 50% chance to reload 15%)

Patna LiteMag magazine: remove stats, new effect: damage against Fodder +35%, damage against Non-Fodder -35% (fodder = white dots on tracker) 

Compound Magazine: new effect where it adds 10 rounds to the magazine capacity, instead of modifying magazine capacity by a percentage

Kolkata Eviscerator magazine: new effect: deal 10,000 damage if you perform a Weakpoint Hit on an enemy that's knocked down, this effect can trigger once per enemy

Basra Xpres magazine: new effects: use 2 ammo per shot, deal +65% damage, trigger a Knockdown on weakpoint hit which can only happen once per enemy

Tempered Chamber tubular magazine: new proc effect which causes a knockdown and inflicts another 2000 damage if you strike the target with at least 12 pellets in one shot, triggers once per enemy

Alignment Module internal magazine: inflict +50% damage on Shot, this effect has a 1.5 second cooldown after damaging an enemy, no other stats (pike, m12 rpg, etc)

Slanted Brake muzzle: proc now makes it further increase fire rate and reduce stability, on Kill you gain +16% fire rate and -50% stability for 6 seconds

Slotted Bell Brake muzzle: +8% fire rate, new effect: deal +33% damage to enemies at close range (buff icon will appear on enemies)

Nagpur Shroud muzzle: remove other stats, effect: every 30 hits on the same target you will stun the target for 1.5 seconds, this effect is subject to default stun immunity rules

Alloy Brake muzzle: +50% stumble chance, new effect: inflict extra 1000 damage on Stumble

Hamsa large muzzle: removed stats, new effects: +30% damage vs armor, armored targets are dazed on hit (-20% movement speed and damage inflicted, lasting 3 seconds)

Riser Mount optic: set bonus of +35% stumble chance, new effect: +25% damage against enemies at close range

Khulna Sight optic: in-cover bonuses to accuracy and weakpoint damage raised to +40% (the weakpoint damage bonus on this attachment is multiplicative, same as the vanilla attachment)

Illuminated Reflex Sight: +30% weakpoint damage, -30% zoom magnification

Sylhet Stalker optic: stats removed, added new effect: on Weakpoint Hit have a 20% chance to inflict a Stumble that cannot be resisted in any way, only triggers on enemies that no longer have any Armor (or never had any)

N-Hance optic: remove full scope and other effects, new effect: +100 extra damage on Weakpoint Hit (extra damage is a separate hit, combine it with fast-firing guns)

Jaffna N-Site optic: +30% weakpoint damage and -50% zoom magnification, old Stumble proc slightly reduced

Reinforced Barrel: raise melee damage to +150%, replace proc with extra +40% damage at close range (attachment is now called "Proximity Barrel")

Lightweight Induction Barrel: stumble chance +75%, explosion radius +50%, damage -10% 

Gada Executioner armature: max ammo +30%, gun debuff duration +100%, same effect

Servo-Assisted armature: +20% movement speed up from 5%, this bonus applies regardless of the equipped weapon (vanilla behavior)


III) ATTACHMENTS 

1) Internal Magazines

Phosphorus Munitions: 33% chance to create flames doing 1000 damage per second (buffed from 25% and 100 damage)

Augmented Speedloader: raises fire rate by 45% but reduces max ammo by 45%, is now called 'Munitions Grinder'

Launch Accelerator: raised stumble chance bonus to +40%, added +40% falloff multiplier (same property as Down Range perk)

Combat Actuator: +25% fire rate, adds exactly one extra round to the weapon's magazine capacity, proc removed, is now called 'Auxiliary Chamber'

Flywheel Chamber: 2% damage bonus stacks up to 8 times, instead of just 5 times, now also increases Heat Regeneration on laser weapons

Pulse Module: +35% fire rate, increases Heat Regeneration, -60% damage vs. armor (this is the original fixed battery attachment from the laser pistol, unlocked)


2) Small Magazines

Quickloader Magazine: buffed from +30% max ammo to +60% max ammo

Rapid Release Magazine: the "reload after emptying magazine" proc that grants +50% reload speed, will also grant +10% damage for 3 seconds

Extended Magazine: raised ammo capacity bonus to +35%, new proc effect on Shot which stacks up to 100 times: firerate +1%, buff ends when you haven't fired a shot in the last 0.2 seconds

Inhibitor Rounds: replaced stability bonus with a stumble chance bonus, both bonuses up to +25%

Hollow Points: +35% stumble chance, proc has 100% chance to trigger and inflicts 3200 damage over 8 seconds (old effect: 25% chance, 960 damage)

Stabilizing Magazine: new effect where it adds 15 rounds to the magazine capacity, instead of modifying magazine capacity by a percentage

3) Medium Magazines

Quickdraw Magazine: -10% firerate, -40% handling, -40% reload speed, magazine refills with ammo from reserves constantly while you are shooting

Weighted Magazine: +20% max ammo added, new effect: on Stumble the enemy target will be slowed down by 70% for 2.5 seconds, the effect cannot trigger on enemies with Armor

Destabilizing Magazine: weak proc effect replaced with a Freeze that lasts 3 seconds and triggers once per enemy, stats down to +10%, now called Cryo Rounds

Alloyed Magazine: increased reload speed bonus to +35%

Drum Magazine: increased magazine capacity bonus to +90%, added -35% reload speed penalty

4) Large Magazines

High Impact Rounds: +15% damage, +20% max Ammo, stumble chance proc is the same 

High Capacity Magazine: +45% max ammo, on reload you will be able to reload one more time, doubling the ammo in your magazine

Swift Eject Magazine: reloading with this attachment will now refresh the reload proc effect's timer if it was already present, preventing random downtimes 

Armor-Piercing Rounds: damage bonus against armor increased from +25% to +50% (justified as bonus only applies vs. enemy armor bar)

STAP Magazine: stats changed to grant fire rate and max ammo, reload proc effect will now grant perfect Stability for 6 seconds

5) Tubular Magazines

Alloyed Chamber: magazine capacity bonus raised to +50%, fire rate raised to +20%, stability removed (synergy with Jackpot perk)

Overloaded Rounds: the weakpoint hit explosion will deal 400 damage and stumble everything in the area, reload speed -60%

Weighted Chamber: Firearms fire 7 more pellets while grenade launchers get 50% more radius, accuracy -50%, damage vs. armor -35%, attachment is now called 'Flechette Rounds'

Counterbalanced Magazine: Handling +35%, Accuracy +35%, Weakpoint Damage +35%  (no longer buffs max ammo)

Appended Magazine: stats changed to Damage -18%, Accuracy +800%, Damage vs. Armor +60%, attachment is now called "Heavy Slugs"

Composite Assembly: stats changed to Damage +50%, Handling +50%, Magazine Capacity set to 2 (the magazine capacity will always be just 2 rounds)

Primed Magazine: grants +100% max ammo, capacity and stability, weapon deals -33% damage to Non-Fodder enemies, now called "Shorty Shells"

6) Barrels

Progressive Rifling: damage bonus against full health enemies from +10% to +35%, stability to +35%, fire rate from +10% to -10%

Smooth Bore: -25% range, new effect: on Hit create a small blast doing 50 damage, the blast has a 5% chance to stumble in a small radius and does not cause any friendly fire

Dual Rail Booster: +40% accuracy instead of stability, maximum stacks of proc effect increased from 5 to 10 (+5% damage vs armored enemies on Hit)

Hybrid Rifling: raised stability to +50%, added +50% effective range

Ratchet Rifling: reduced fire rate bonus to +10%, added new effect: +20% Damage dealt to Unarmored enemies (enemies that lost all armor or never had any)

7) Armatures

Quick Charge: always grants +15% fire rate and +35% stability, special property: reduces spinup times to minimum

Max Capacity: buffed from +30% max ammo to +50%, reload immediately after a kill to load 150% the normal amount of ammo into your magazine, buff icon shows the time you have to complete a reload

Stabilizing Armature: grants +45% stability, +30% weakpoint damage (old: +30% stability, +20% reload speed)

Calibrated Armature: on Melee Hit, reload the weapon's whole magazine, then gain 35% fire rate and instant spinup lasting 10 seconds

Kinetic Harness: +30% fire rate, +50% melee damage on Hit

8) Small Optics

Micro Dot Sight: gives +25% damage while standing still, reduces fire rate by 25% while standing still (both up from 10%)

Reflex Sight: +20% accuracy, handling proc replaced: on kill you will get +15% weakpoint damage, lasting 15 sec or until reload, stacks up to 5 times

Holotab Sight: +35% accuracy, handling proc replaced with new effect: +9% Accuracy and +9% Range on Kill for 6 seconds, stacking 10 times

9) Medium Optics

Dual Optics: +30% Handling, +35% Damage vs. Armor (removed full scope view and accuracy proc)

Rangefinder: zoom reduced, added new property: falloff multiplier +40% (same property as Down Range perk)

Hybrid Optics: zoom reduced, handling replaced with stumble chance, proc grants -15% fire rate and +15% damage (also attempting to adjust for this type of proc usually dealing less damage than advertised)

Illuminated Scope: raised bonuses to 40%, added new property: +60% gun debuff duration (debuffs that originate from the gun and its attachments)

Compound Optic: aim assist +25%, fire rate -25%, increases damage vs. non-fodder by +60% (non-fodder enemies: green and red dots on tracker) 

10) Large Optics


4x Illuminated Sight: weakpoint damage buff to +50%,  zoom bonus reduced to +10% , other properties removed

Radar Enhanced Optics: raised weakpoint damage bonus to 30%, removed zoom bonus, added new property: +60% gun debuff duration

Combat Relay Scope: zoom level and range boost reduced to +10%, cooldown reduction effect triggers much more often, from once every 5 seconds to once every 1 second

Augmented Sight: +35% Handling, +35% Stumble Chance, +5% Ability Damage on Hit for 10 seconds, effect stacks up to 6 times (technician turrets need to be placed again for their damage to update)

Telescopic Sight: zoom reduced to 25%, new effect on Hit: deal 200% damage to the target, this can trigger only once for each enemy

Magnified Reflex Sight: Handling bonus increased to +90%, Aim Assist bonus increased to +20% per stack

11) Small Muzzles

Compact Flash Hider: +15% stability, old stability proc replaced: on kill you will get +5% damage, lasting 15 seconds or until reload, stacks up to 5 times 

Multiport Compensator: handling proc effect replaced: gain +40% Weakpoint Damage when shooting Unarmored enemies (and enemies that lost their armor)

Slide Compensator: +60% stability, +15% damage to Unarmored enemies 

Compensator: fire two projectiles per shot that do 50% damage each, attachment now called 'Perlator' 

12) Medium Muzzles

Forward Mount Laser: +60% accuracy, new effect: Reveal Target on Hit for 3 seconds

Precision Brake: grants +30% accuracy instead of stability

Muzzle Brake: +40% Stability and Range, new effect: target takes +40% Damage after a Hit, lasts 1.25 seconds and only triggers once per enemy

13) Large Muzzles


Extended Flash Hider: on weakpoint hit the target will be set on fire for 2500 damage over 5 seconds, does not stack but the timer will refresh with repeated weakpoint hits, other stats removed (burn time can be extended with Gun Debuff Duration attachments)

Extended Field Brake: on Hit prevent the enemy from using special abilities for 8 seconds (grapples, grenades, etc)

Triangulated Flash Hider: all stats raised to +30%

Calibrated Hider: -15% fire rate, new effect: deal +35% damage to enemies that are stunned or knocked down
