About this mod
I drew inspiration from a few outdated ReShades from a few years ago to make a current and updated version for 2020 and the ReShade 4.7 update. This is a warmer and darker Reshade that breathes a lot of life, and dread, into the game. This ReShade also sharpens and focuses the game to be more crisp and clear, while staying true to the original art.

I drew inspiration from a few different outdated ReShades from a few years ago to make the current and updated version for 2020 and the ReShade 4.7 update. This is a warmer and darker Reshade that breathes a lot of life, and dread, into the game. This ReShade also sharpens and focuses the game to be more crisp and clear, while staying true to the original art style.
This mod draws inspiration from the CineFX ReShade by Sk-Fan and clauDA's mod Alien Domination - 1979, yet darkens the scene and fixes some of the low-light effects that the game implements including an updated dither shader now known as Deband that smooths the effects of bloom lighting considerably.
This ReShade is a great compliment to the SoftCore Mod by Sgt_Prof, as they increased the carrying capacity for light sources. The game is now darker with this ReShade, so lights are a must in some areas and you cant get by without them in others.
My hope is that this ReShade adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game, including giving a great sense of dread to walking the halls of the station to new and old players alike.
