Ace Combat 7: Skies Untold is an alternate timeline and complete reimagining of the story and canon of Ace Combat. The contents of this mod conflict extremely with canon. If you do not read the work-in-progress document, you might be very confused. However, for this new series of skins, JSF: F-35s of the Strangereal World, you might be able to reconcile the contents with canon if you try hard enough. Just know that I am not trying to make these canon-friendly, but rather Untold canon-friendly.
Thefourth installment of the JSF Pack is the Osean Prototypes Pack, which includes two schemes of test and evaluation craft for the OMDF, one YF-35C and one F-35C known as the White Lightning and the Black Panther respectively. While the F-35 program carried the moniker "Lightning II" from the start, Osean test pilots quickly gave it another name that even the program office could get behind-- "Panther".
