Beginning as the 43rd Fighter Squadron in 1939 on the eve of the Osean War, Warlock squadron is an extremely old fighter squadron and one of the few to retain its numerical designation for its entire service history. In 1956, the squadron became the 43rd Fighter Interceptor Squadron, and in 1965 the squadron became the 43rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, which would continue to serve with distinction, flying F-15Es under the command of Major Isabel 'Izzy' Anders in the Belkan War in 1995. By 2019, the squadron is serving as part of the IUN-PKF Mission to the Usean Continent and remains a Strike Eagle squadron, under the command of Major Patrick 'Wiseman' Harmon, a Belkan War veteran who would lead the squadron and later the OADF portion of the ODF Usean Theater Command's Joint Long Range Strategic Strike Group, the 122nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Cyclops". After the war, Warlock would be transitioned to F-23As and return to full strength.
