In an alternate universe, Japan and Russia could be allies.
Su-32KY, Kommercheskiy Yaponskiy. Commercial variant for the Japanese. Following the acquisition of Su-30MKY, Japan felt the need for a close-range air support aircraft to assist infantry operations deep inland. While the Flanker Zero has the range to accomplish the mission, it lacks the armor to withstand anti aircraft artillery. Russia offered a modified Su-32 Strike Flanker model to suit Japan's need. Su-32KY is equipped with various bombs, anti-tank missiles, and featured even stronger titanium-aluminide armor compared to the regular Fullback. NATO reporting name is "Fullback-B" while internally in Japan the nickname is "Suisei II".
