This skin for the F-16C Fighting Falcon attempts to recapture the aircraft's look during its earliest days in service. The first Vipers flown by the USAF, the F-16A Block 1, were differentiated from its successors thanks to its glossy black radome (quickly changed to gray as it was extremely easy to spot), smaller horizontal stabilators (enlarged with the F-16A Block 15), an early iteration of the Pratt & Whitney F100 engine, and a three-tone variant of the "Hill Gray" scheme with the bottom in FS36375.
This skin does feature some changes to more closely match the Block 1. The nose/radome is glossy black, it comes in the aforementioned three-tone Hill Gray scheme variation (with the darker gray on top painted further aft), and the Vulcan cannon's shroud was altered. While later variants, as depicted in AC7, have two vents, I was able to mimic the early look by painting on two more vents, four vents forward of the Vulcan, and a small grille. Unfortunately, I'm not a modeler, so the other details (IFF antenna, intake, stabilator size, etc.) remain as on the 16C Block 30 and beyond.
Maintenance markings were done up in the early higher-vis style. Mage squadron markings are based off of F-16A 78-0002 while the Strider livery takes a little bit of inspiration from later Wild Weasel F-16's. It also comes with a livery for Mage 1 Clown, for player skin slot 7 as well as his NPC aircraft.
Skin is also compatible with Lanzerince's F-16C vismods (GPB Sniper pod and belly-mounted ECM pod).
