I actually quite like these two...

For the classic F-14A Tomcat, this is a 4-tone variant of the famous Ferris disruptive camouflage used experimentally by the USN VF-101 "Grim Reapers" on some of their birds in the early 1980s. Quirks of this variation include the use of only one wing roundel that was painted on "upside-down", as well as a false painted-on canopy.
Comes in a blank variant for skin slots 1-3 and a Trigger campaign marking variant for skin slots 4-6. Trigger's markings attempt to replicate the unique marking style as used by VF-101 with this camo scheme.
REQUIRES TOP GUN: MAVERICK AIRCRAFT SET DLC.
For the upgraded and less compressor stall-y F-14B Tomcat, this is another 4-tone variant of the Ferris disruptive camouflage, known as the Heater-Ferris scheme. It was also trialed in the early 1980s (on F-14A's), in this case by the famous USN VF-1 "Wolfpack". To my knowledge this may have also been used for aggressor purposes. In particular, this uses a more brown-blue palette with larger and more curved shapes. I also decided to mark it using the B variant's earlier designation, the F-14A Plus/A+.
Yes, the newer F110 engines didn't disseminate into service until the mid-late 80s, I just wanted to make something for the F-14B.
Comes in a blank variant for skin slots 1-3 and a Trigger campaign marking variant for skin slots 4-6. Trigger's markings attempt to replicate the unique marking style (including a low-vis variant of the Wolfpack's tailplane stripes) as used by VF-1 with this camo scheme.
REQUIRES LANZERINCE'S F-14B TOMCAT MOD - ADDON VERSION.
