An F-15J skin inspired by the Capital District Air Defense Squadron seen in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.
As I was replaying Ace Combat 5 recently, I remembered the brief appearance of the so-called Capital District Air Defense Squadron, seen sortieing from Apito International Airport during the events of Reprisal and Chain Reaction (Mission 11A and 11B).
There was basically no lore around this squadron besides its name, so I thought it would be fun to design what an aircraft belonging to that unit might look like during the events of the Lighthouse War. As a play on the name of the Washington D.C. Air National Guard Unit (the "D.C. Guardians"), I decided to name the squadron, at least informally, the "Capital Sentinels".
I created a custom squadron emblem which is featured on the side of the aircraft's fuselage, and additionally created some tail art using a free-use vector I found online (with some modifications).
This is my first mod release for Ace Combat 7. Be gentle.

Q&A
Q1. Why the F-15J and not the F-15C?
A1. A few reasons; I felt like there aren't enough F-15J skins, and I like the fact that the F-15J is actually symmetrical, unlike the F-15C (which I never noticed until working on this skin; the tail fins are different). Also, I like SAAMs.
Q2. Will you make a version for the F-15C?
A2. Maybe. Probably.
Q3. Will you make a change to the skin for me?
A3. Probably not, unless it's a bug fix. Sorry!

- The default version, which comes with an Osean livery and tailcode alongside some tail art inspired by those seen on some United States Air National Guard aircraft. Replaces either Skin 04 (Mage), Skin 05 (Spare), or Skin 06 (Strider).
- A version that is the same as the above, but without the tail art and 'CAPITAL SENTINELS' decal on the inside of the tail fins. Replaces either Skin 04 (Mage), Skin 05 (Spare), or Skin 06 (Strider).
- A completely blank version, with neither the tail art, decals, tailcode, or any other identifying marks such as the Osean Air Force insignia. Replaces either Skin 01 (Osea), Skin 02 (Erusea), or Skin 03 (Special/Ace).
Q&A
