    • Interview with BGSenTinel

Sentinel's Legendary Weapons and Armor won February's TESNexus File of the Month with 32 votes. The mod's author, BGSenTinel, has graciously accepted our request for an interview which you can read below. We hope you enjoy this new feature. Q: What was your inspiration for creating this mod? A: Everything started by creating one single katana - Sylvan's one. Then I decided to make the Imperial, Pure Steel, and the Emperor's Katana. I thought I should put this in a set, so I started working...

    • Gameswelt Interview with Todd Howard

Recently, an interview at Gameswelt (I believe its German) with Todd Howard has him talking all about the Elder Scrolls. Todd says in the first twenty seconds that the feeling they were going for with Morrowind was that you were a stranger in a strange land. For Skyrim, he says that feels wrong. After Morrowind, they wanted to go back to a more “classic fantasy game” for Oblivion. He then goes on to explain how between Arena to Oblivion, Morrowind is the odd one out; the alien in the series....

    • Todd Howard and Notch (Minecraft) "interview" each other

At E3 2011, GameInformer writer Ben Hanson managed to get Todd Howard and Markus Persson (Notch), the creator of Minecraft, in the same room. The back-and-forth pseudo-interview (it's more of a conversation) of course includes Skyrim and Minecraft, but Oblivion is brought up too. Todd also talks a bit about mods, calls the PC version superior because of mods, and again brings up trying to get them available on the consoles. Fallout 3's ending and the community reaction is also brought up. Oth...

    • August File of the Month Interview feat. Elestat

Sorry about the confusion last month. TESNexus's File of the Month system was messed up, making it hard to decide on who the winner was (the last time was from May!) In any case, this month's File of the Month winner of your choice is Elestat, who won with Trade and Commerce at 97 votes. That's a considerable amount! Hopefully you'll enjoy this interview with Elestat and the insight into the creation of the mod and learn a bit about them. Tell us a little about yourselves. Where you are ...

Robin: Alright, it’s eight o’clock and we’re English. So punctuality is important to us. So let’s get this show on the road.

Paul: They’re on mute. Over to you?

Robin: So the point of this AMA, ask me anything, is literally just to give you a forum to talk to me and I will try to answer your questions as best I can. Or as many of them as I can. It’s kind of just like a tester; we’re testing out various different features on the site. Trying to engage mor...

This week we move to the critically acclaimed Dark Souls series and chat to a young modder who goes by the name Cavou. Fed up with the tiling of the textures in the vanilla game, he set out to replace each offending texture to give a more immersive experience.

Hey Cavou, thanks for chatting to me today, it’s most appreciated. Jumping straight in, would you mind telling us a little bit about yourself?

    • The Sunday discussion - Duncan Harris, screenshot artist and owner of DeadEndThrills.com

Here on Nexus Mods we have a very vibrant, busy and incredibly talented screen-capture community. I'm going to be spending time getting to know our artists and introduce them into this series to showcase some of their work, find out what makes them tick, what tools they use and if they have any tips for others.

Though to begin, I reached out to someone outside the community who I also hold in very high regard, the very humble and often elusive professional screen-capture artist...

    • Interview with Insane Mind Games - creators of "Breaking Wheel"

Over the past couple of months, we have introduced a 'Sunday discussion' that I'm pleased to see has gone down well with our community. We have had a steady mix of internal mod authors and external talent, all of whom have provided interesting and insightful interviews.

This Sunday went by without even a sniff of a discussion, but that's not to say we didn't do one. Just, it was a bit delayed. We spoke to the Insane Mind Games development team that is head up b...

    • The Sunday Discussion - Jokerine - Prolific modder and lover of Chickens!

Todays Sunday Discussion is with the 'Queen of Chickens' - Jokerine. With (currently) 245 mods on the site, Jokerine really shows that modding can be both addictive and highly enjoyable. Her interview really made me smile because of her passion, her love of memes and getting into modding due to a 'dare'. Happy Sunday discussion everyone.

Firstly I would like to thank you for the time you are giving up to speak to me; it’s most appreciated.
