does this let you place stuff at the traders? is it possible to do have always open traders that you can place stuff in but still have it be indestructible?
"the trader makes his announcements anyway. You can ignore that, just think you are his bodyguard or his cleanup servies."
Hi and thanks for this mod. I LOVE it! I can't express how awesome it was when I started playing a new map with destructible traders! Now I have to defend the outpost while I'm there, I can clean up the trash and build/repair/salvage. It's wonderful!
I like them not kicking me either, but they are NOT doing the announcements and the open sign is ALWAYS off. I don't see why your minor edits in the .xmls would have this effect. Everything else about it is great, but I miss the atmosphere and "companionship" they simulated.
Can you say why this is happening and how to fix it?
Also, why do you have to start a new map? What happens if you don't?
First if you make a new map then you avoid most bugs.
i dont know why the "trader" didn't make the "Announcements" anymore, i guess its something with the latest update from the devs.
About the "lights" i can recommand useing "enable POI lights" its an small plugin which needs to be compiled with DMT but then you can Enable every light and disable every light which you want. like streetlights, signs, celling lights and much much more.. it can be found on "7days to die mods" so NOT nexus.
I can do this "trader fulltime open" even do with xml. this what i use right now is the "sphereii-core" its an DMT mod, which needs to compile again, but has more fetures for other mods. This here which you can download (my mod) is not really a mod, it's just "the prefab himself" which i edit.
But am not really sure, usally there are ways to make more dialogs, i guess its an cool idea. maybe if i found time, i'll look at this.
the trader will make the announcement but he wont kick you. so what, do you want? an NOT destructible environment? if yes you can download the "sphereiiCore" which enables and disables the whole things manualy via "false" and "true" Xml. but you have to use "Dmt" which is an tool to commpile mods. Have a nice day!
basically its almost the same, but he made it via xml/dmt script. with would work just like the sphereii core, in the end the sphereii core is really cool, has more then just one option.

This triggers an error in console:
"<mod name> does not contain ModInfo.xml, ignoring"

Hell, once I remember seeing a mod where the trader would not kick you. That one made so much sense.
