    Hi bdub,

So I saw something weird. GNX doesn't need its own accessories to be crafted, I believed at first that the game can't display a sixth line on the recipes, so I have been through the files and... it really doesn't need them. It's absent from the recipe.
Do somebody else reported that ? Is it normal ?

It appears to be weird but if you designed it this way it's ok.

Hmm. Yeah, I see it. I did the whole dye thing back then as I thought it made sense, but I think I'll just replace it with the accessories. The game can handle more than 5 things in a recipe, but you wouldn't be able see it as you said.

I'll change it and post an update soonish. I have some other small tweaks to make also.

On more question. This time about road handling. In vanilla the 4x4 with speed increased (modded) does not handle well when taking angles... your Pickup for example, I've increased speed and try one, and it handles very well on road, even when pushed... like a strong mouse movement, it does not drift a lot. => For 34 speed value which is ~122km/h or 76 miles/h IRL, it can take good angle with a well mastered drifting, and does not go off road. Which was exactly what I searched for since A19 vehicles modifications that made them go off road a lot more than A18, I have the impression.

Is that only because of the values of motorTorqueMin, and motorTorqueMax ? I see in vanilla for 4x4 it's 5000, you set them at 3000 and 4000 respectively. I take it these values do all the work concerning handling right ? If yes, I can make a mod that can increase vehicles speed and also make them more handleable (is that a word ?) on road, even with the worst pilot and road condition. Thanks in advance.

Eh, torque does affect it, but not much. Most of it is done on the wheel colliders in Unity. Torque will mainly affect climbing ability.

    Hey Bdubyah!

Absolutely love your vehicle mods!  Epic work!

However, it seems a few of them have unintentional stamina buffs that come with them?  So far, the Buggy, Cruiser, Junker, and the Rat all seem to change Stamina Regen to effectively make your Stamina infinite...?  (Aplha 19.4 b7 stable)

Overlooking the files, it seems those particular vehicles all include a buffs.xml file, where as others (such as the UH-60, Dirt Bike, MRAP, or MD-500) don't, so I tried removing the buff.xml file itself from the Cruiser (which is my favorite of your motorcycle creations), and spawn it from Creative in a brand new Navezgane world.  As soon as you jump on the bike and off, poof, Stamina Regen is back to effectively infinite.  Although, if you die, the buff does seem to no longer be effective (that is, until you jump back on/in a vehicle).

It's absolutely not something that is game-breaking, but, perhaps something I thought you should be aware of, if you aren't already.  :)

Once again, thank you for all of your fantastic work!  \m/

That should have been fixed in this mod. I just looked and I don't think ever fixed it in the separate mods. The buggy mod looks to be correct, but the motorcycles haven't been updated.

Easy fix though, just open the buffs.xml file and find the buffMotoPedal. There is a line:

      ?<triggered_effect trigger="onSelfBuffUpdate" action="RemoveBuff" target="self" buff="buffPedal"/>

that needs to be changed to:

      ?<triggered_effect trigger="onSelfBuffUpdate" action="RemoveBuff" target="self" buff="buffMotoPedal"/>

and that should fix the issue. Again, it shouldn't be an issue in this AIO mod. If anything, you could download this mod and copy it's buffs.xml into all the other mods that need it.

Works great, and is a awesome mod. But is there a helicopter-less version?
Or could someone advise me on how to disable them without breaking everything else.

Running a server and once people have the choppers they just go take all the good loot from rooftops, makes the game boring.

Easiest way would be....remove the recipes, remove them from progression, and take them out of loot and traders.xml.

Any chance you would get this to work with Darkness Falls? I'd love to play with your mod but I'm too attached to DF :(

I actually just learned that a tester for DF has made a patch for this to work with DF. Once I get the OK to use it, I'll add it here as an optional file.

I do love the selection of vehicles, though as I also use Hank's Vehicle Tweaks I had to edit the xml file to increase speeds.

    :'(

i was so looking forward to this mod (especially with normal trucks, motorcycles, and RAT RODS?!)... but alas, it hath died before it was born. it wont load, with lots of red and yellow lines in this debug thingy before the main screen. i have no idea what it means, i just see a lot of 'failed' stuff. i saw in a previous comment you said 'i would need to see the error log', so.. how do i get you that? and where would i find it first.. obviously. id love to get this working asap. :(

Easy enough to google how to get to the output log.

So you aren't even getting to the main menu? That's probably gonna be some other problem. Any other mods? Validated your files?

Love the mod! been using it to play with a friend! I'm wondering, if possible, to add a beat up Crown Victoria squad car or something? Nothing beats the classic zombie survival trope of some dudes using a beat up squad car in the apocalypse lol. Thank you for the mod!
