This mod basically changes a few values around the ground blocks (topsoil, dirt, gravel, stone, sand, sandstone, snow, broken stone and asphalt) to make mining them less tiring but still keeping a balanced experience.

This mod basically changes a few values around the ground blocks (topsoil, dirt, gravel, stone, sand, sandstone, snow, broken stone and asphalt) to make mining them less tiring but still keeping a balanced experience.

Ground blocks now have 1/3 of their original HP, yield 1/3 of the resources and give 1/3 of the experience as well. This makes creating your moat, tunnel, flat ground for you mega base, much, much easier.

Here's the advantages:
  • Mining ground blocks is 3x faster
  • Buried supplies quest is no longer unnecessarily boring, even more so for those who don't spec into Miner 69'r
  • No more unbalanced exp gain because you set Player Block Damage to 300%
  • No more huge stacks of resources for the same reason above
  • No more 30min staring at the same texture to pass the night!!
  • Ore mining is unaltered, do the same damage to ore, get the same resources and exp
  • Gravel is softer so you don't necessarily need to change from pick to shovel to mine ore that is behind the wall of gravel
  • "THIS MAKES STEEL SHOVEL USELESS!" Not quite, you still need to mine the pallets from POI's, they still have the same HP

TL;DR: Dig faster but exp and resources gained per minute stays the exact same
