Reasonable Ammo Expansion is a collection of new ammunition varieties which are at least relatively feasible in the real world (or could soon be viable). It is derived from a user request on Guppy's Discord server and, due to the specifics of that request, is offered in both "Standard" and "Server" variants. RAE will never include ammo that changes the balance of the game - yes, HEDP ammo exists, but no I'm not including it.

A cleverly-constructed arrow that has a reasonable chance to shock targets.

  • Steel-tier arrows that pack an electrical charge
  • Loot groups/probabilities matched to flaming arrows
  • Crafting unlocks with 25 Electrician skill
  • Scales with Electrocutioner level
  • Because shocking things with every arrow would be broken, matched the probability chance of shocking to the real-world probability of a Tazer successfully shocking someone (40% failure rate)

A cleverly-constructed bolt that has a reasonable chance to shock targets.

  • Steel-tier bolts that pack an electrical charge
  • Loot groups/probabilities matched to flaming crossbow bolts

  • Scales with Electrocutioner level

A quick-and-dirty DIY shock shell. Not as reliable as the brand name stuff, but at least it still hurts if the charge fails!

  • Doesn't do much direct damage (about the same as buckshot), but has a reasonable chance to shock targets
  • Loot groups/probabilities matched to shotgun slugs
  • Crafting unlocks with 25 Electrician skill
  • Scales with Boomstick level
  • Because shocking things with every bolt would be broken, matched the probability chance of shocking to the real-world probability of a Tazer successfully shocking someone (40% failure rate)
