Perks Cost More is a small example mod by RyanFaeScotland that increases the difficulty of the game by making perks cost MORE to learn.
Written at the request of reddit user mbaucco who asked if we could make perks cost more to learn, this mod is intended to be used as a basis for making your own tweaks to the cost of perks using the details below.
Features
Alone, Perks Cost More sets the cost of Dead Eye to 5 points per perk level which in itself isn't very interesting.
However, if you look in the file progression.xml which is contained in the mod, then it should be pretty obvious how it is making this adjustment, thus allowing you to make your own adjustments to the various perk trees to make things easier, or harder, or even more balanced.
User Guide
To use, download the Perks Cost More zip file and extract the Perks Cost More folder and put it in your Mods folder.
You can then adjust this file to your needs, copying the existing 'perkDeadEye' line and updating it with the name of other perks and the costs you want them to have.
EAC compatible.
A21 compatible. - To save development time, and to ensure my limited free time is being spent as productively as possible, this mod is only updated to the latest version of 7DTD upon request.
Server compatible.
SMX compatible. (Core v21.2.30.1, UI v21.0.317.1)
