The mod has been tested with alpha 21


This mod adds a new radiation mechanic to the game to improve the experience in the wasteland biome and increase the threat of radiated zombies.

Getting hit by radiated zombies or staying in the wasteland without protection will result in radiation poisoning, this debuff will progressively reduce your stamina regeneration along with maximum stamina and health. High level of contamination can cause different diseases and once it reaches 100% you will die.

Avoid Getting hit by radiated zombies and escape from the Wasteland to slowly recover from the radiation poisoning.

Getting wet in the wasteland will speed up the contamination rate while getting wet outside the wasteland will speed up the decontamination process.

You can wear a full hazmat suit to protect you from further contamination but this will not cure instantaneously the radiation poisoning.

Taking Iodine pills will cure the contamination and briefly protect you from radiation.

Iodine pills and hazmat suit parts can be found in loot or bought from traders.

-getting hit by radiated zombies will give you 5% radiation instead of 0.5%
-the hazmat suit can be crafted after completing the 'Needle and Thread' book series

How to install the mod?
Download and extract the file, then put the 'RadiationPoisoning' folder in your 7 days to die Mods Folder.
Should look something like this: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods

How to install the mod? (for Undead Legacy)
Download and extract the file, then put the 'UndeadLegacy_RadiationPoisoning' folder in your Undead Legacy Mods Folder.
