We are the GammaBlargers. We have compiled various modlets and changes into our personal server that improve our quality of life and over all experience of 7 Days to Die. Here at Nexus, we have extracted our original modlets to share with the rest of the internet. 

This modlet changes zombies according to our group's taste, making them damage tanks except for headshots. They are also more fragile, so zombies break apart more satisfactorily. Keep in mind, because dismemberment is boosted, you can get insta-kill crits on radiated zombies with careful head targeting.

This modlet has all of our zombie improvements:
  • Zombies soaks 50% damage to body. (except zombie vultures and dogs.)
  • Zombie knockdown damage increased to compensate for increased durability.
  • Base dismemberment boosted.
  • Perk dismemberment progression boosted.
  • Zombie material damage altered: strong against glass and wood, weak against all else.

This mod is balanced for the enjoyment of our group. For people who want a harrowing, Romero-like experience, try setting the body damage nerf in entityclasses.xml to 0.01 (look for the comment.) Zombies will be nigh invincible to body damage except for dismemberment. Makes turrets and spray-and-pray gunplay dramatic.

Install as usual, dumping the files into your 7DaysToDie/Mods folder locally or on your dedicated server.

These changes are not so easy to customize since they are somewhat dependent across a few different files. If you don't understand what you are changing, I recommend leaving files be, and asking here for advice first.
