What does this do?
This mod is relatively simple but in my opinion makes things much more immersive. This "mod" selectively removes 67 audio files that play at night and in my opinion break the immersion of the game. You know that annoying buzzing sound that plays, or the random build up suspense sounds? Yeah, those are gone along with a number of other ambient sounds.
In this update though I have added additional options:
I wanted to remove the annoyingly loud menu sounds when hovering over an option in the Menu, or selecting to load or save a game.
How to install?
This is not a mod you can drop in your "Mods" folder and call it good, so follow these steps:

- Remove all Ambient music but keep the animal related sounds (Owls, wolfs, etc.)
- Remove all ambient music and animal related sounds
- Remove all Ambient music and Menu UI sounds but keep the animal related sounds
- Remove all Ambient music, Menu UI sounds, and Animal related sounds

How to install?
This is not a mod you can drop in your "Mods" folder and call it good, so follow these steps:
- Download the file manually (Do not do it via mod manager or it will not work)
- Navigate to your installation location for 7D2D
- Select the 7DaysToDie_Data folder
- Your path should look something like this (C:\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\7DaysToDie_Data)
- Consider backing up your resources.asset file
- Drag and drop the included resources.asset file in this mod and overwrite it
- Play the game and enjoy the selective silence
