7 Days To Die

After a lot of hard work across weeks of coding, Unnecessarily Beautiful But Immersive's 2.0.0 update is finally out. Following previous updates that added features like using the wrench line of tools for disassembling blocks crafted by UBBI, appropriate repairing, HP balancing of items and more, I am now back with with an assortment of new features and tweaks from workable kitchen appliances, usable shower, new doors and other miscellanious additions.

There are now six workable kitchen appliances that work similarly to a campfire. Previously in UBBI, players can now use the Stove, Oven, Cooktop, Toaster, Coffee Maker and Microwave with their very own slightly unique sounds, a couple new icons, fuel requirements and even a new tool requirement for the toaster! To find the "Shamway Cooking Spring" to craft the Tuna Fish Gravy Toast at the toaster, players must find it in a variety of loot containers.

In order to cook anything at these kitchen appliances, players must use electronic parts, electric parts and car batteries as a power source with the electronic campfire like appliances. While all items can still be crafted at a campfire, these alternate appliances will look more aesthetic, while allowing players to craft select foods depending on the device. Oh and don't worry, players can find the added Electronic Components at vehicles with a wrench!

Players can now turn on the shower head once placed by using the wire tool to experience water visuals and sound effects. If under the shower, players will gain temporary benefits including increased stamina regeneration, increased running speed and increased cold resistance, since this is a hot shower.

Adding to the immersion of a shower room, I have added a different towel, made the toilet roll closer to the edges of a block, made an alternate toilet roll for the opposite side, redesigned the bathroom windows and bathroom double doors, and created a new bathroom single door as well. With the intentions to make things look more aesthetic, players will now have a more beautiful, yet unnecessarily immersive, as always, home!

I also reworked the closet pieces slightly, created a single closet door, created a secret closet door for players using one block crouch and designed alternate, swing out versions of the doors for additional variety. Now, you can make secret rooms or simply more immersive closets.

Finally, I have released a working chimney and a working doorbell. With inspiration from the POI version of the vanilla chimney designed by The Fun Pimps, I have appropriated it to emit smoke less often and more realistically. The doorbell on the other hand was something added simply for fun, but it could be used to alarm a player you're entering their home and will hopefully alarm zombies to some extent as well.

Before updating to 2.0.0, please destroy and remove from your inventory, chests or home the following items to avoid issues: stove, oven, cooktop, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, shower head, shower glass windows, shower sliding glass doors, toilet paper, bathroom towel and closet pieces.

If you are using Sirillion's SMX overhaul, make sure you get the patch for Unnecessarily Beautiful But Immersive in the optional files!
