Note - Mods aren't required, but it will replace soldiers outfits, patterns, voice or hair with a random choice. Same with DLC, it is recommended but not required.

Playing XCOM 2, I was a little bit upset that some of the birth dates for the soldiers made no sense. Some of these are war heroes yet at the time they would have been under-aged (like being born in 2004 and XCOM Enemy Unknown starting in 2015.)  Not only that but I wanted more unique soldiers with a background other than the provided ones that come with non-customized characters. So I made a batch of 200 Soldiers, VIPS, Dark VIPS and sometimes a mix (can be a VIP or Soldier.) I plan on expanding on it and adding more to the pool (so check back occasionally for updates.) I gave them names that made sense. You wouldn't have someone from Iran with a American name, you would most likely have a Persian name or a name associated with that region. Some of the characters would be of mixed race, on that occasion it might make sense from someone to have a mixed name (perhaps a Japanese mother, and British father for example.)

I wouldn't mind adding other soldiers to this pool for download that people make, or if they want me to write a background for their character and add it to the mod. The only condition I have is that it makes sense (if they were Special Forces before the war in 2015 they would have aged considerably) and their names be of that origin (so you wouldn't have someone named Chun Lee in the U.S.A unless of course they came from parents whom were of Chinese origin who may have moved to the U.S.A sometime before the war or even relocated after ADVENT took control.
