The deuteragonist of Half-Life 2 and its Episodes. She is a woman in her mid-twenties, and is a prominent figure in the Resistance campaign against the rule of the Combine. So fighting humans allied with Aliens are right up her ally. She fits right in in the xcom universe.

Alyx is a skilled hacker: she is able to operate and manipulate Combine-based objects such as turrets with the help of her gear, and also wields an EMP tool used to perform a variety of tasks. So an engineer might be a good class if you want her to stay in character.

She is also very proficient with a pistol, and hand-to-hand combat, as she single-handedly defeats six Civil Protection officers who almost capture Gordon during his escape from the tenement block at the start of Half-Life 2, and helps fight alongside Gordon briefly. Other weapons she have used are the shotgun, and, she is also fairly skilled with the use of Sniper Rifles as seen during episodes 1 and 2, where she provides cover for Gordon using Overwatch Sniper Rifles. Alyx accompanies Gordon for most of Halflife 2.

Despite Alyx's friendly nature, she shows some hostility towards Dr. Mossman and Dr. Breen.
Alyx is also a rather cheerful, optimistic person, showing some sense of humour. This is evidenced by the jokes she makes about various events. For instance, she playfully mocks Gordon's silence at the start of Half-Life 2, telling him "Man of few words, aren't you?"
Alyx is also a very sensitive person, giving some heart and realism to the series. She does not believe her eyes when she sees the state of the Citadel inside, is affected by the Stalkers' fate and behavior at the start of the Episode One chapter Lowlife, and cries SPOILER! over the loss of her father at the end of Episode Two.

In this voice pack she will not talk to Gordon, but she will talk to you the player. Sometimes she is playful, and sometimes she is sarcastic or angry. She will mention from time to time some of the HL cast. And she will use headcrabs and other HL aliens as curse words from time to time. She will talk to her father in a few cases, as I would image him talking to her over the radio via xcom headquarters in a potential crossover scenario. The voice pack is clips from all the games (episodes) she has been in. Including dlc, deleted and bonus clips.  Thank you Darkrai64

I really hope you will enjoy her voice in the xcom game. And I have testet it and found no error so far. But in case I have made a mistake, I will fix anything you guys report on.

Thank you ObelixDk for this awesome Guide to installing Voice packs in Xcom Longwar.

How to install:
First of all you need the mod xcom long war. Then you need to go through these steps:

1) Go to the install location for your game. It varies from pc to pc. You need to go first to the steam location. My exsample:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown

2) From there go to XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\XComGame\Config and open the DefaultContent and find the line VoicePackageInfo=(VoiceType=eCharVoice_FemaleBlueshirt1,ArchetypeName="Voice_BSFVoice1.BSFVoice1") You can press ctrl + f and insert the line eCharVoice_FemaleBlueshirt1 to find it fast.

3) Under this line enter:
;Alyx_Vance
VoicePackageInfo=(VoiceType=eCharVoice_FemaleSoldier2,Language=32,ArchetypeName="FemaleVoice86_English.Voice_FemaleVoice86_English")

and then you can save. If you want you can change the language from 32 to any number to change the voice placement. FemaleSoldier2 can be changed to any number so you don't overwrite a voice that's already there. So if you want to place her in for example polish, and you do not want to overwrite the 2 voices there you can place her as number 3 with the category for polish.
English: Language=0
French:  Language=1
German:  Language=2
Italian: Language=3
Polish:  Language=4
Russian: Language=5
Spanish: Language=6
ect.

So Alyx in the polish category as voice 3 would be:
VoicePackageInfo=(VoiceType=eCharVoice_FemaleSoldier3,Language=4,ArchetypeName="FemaleVoice86_English.Voice_FemaleVoice86_English")

4) Now for the easy part. got to XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\XComGame\CookedPCConsole, and create a new folder called Voice if needed. Put the file there. Unpack it if with winrar, winzip or whatever you need to unpack it. Now everything is ready. Have fun.

The only sure way to defeat the aliens is with surprise, fear and ruthless efficiency. There are two Voice Packs:
"Full" (as shown in the video, but with some modified samples): http://www.mediafire.com/download/d9h...
"Lite" (tries to maintain XCOM atmosphere):  http://www.mediafire.com/download/mqk...
