About this mod

A collection of config files for Long War Beta 15f2. Designed to improve the resource grind and buff gene mods and MECs, among other things.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Made after various discussions in the XCOM thread at the Something Awful Forums. Made for Long War Beta 15f3. Reduces the psi grind, improves late-game meld gain, buffs MECs, removes satellite bonuses that give bonus stats to new soldiers, and makes gene mods cheaper. Also reduces fatigue from psi, officer ranks, and gene mods, and slightly nerfs EXALT.

Note: This mod rearranges certain starting bonuses and satellite bonuses. If you have an ongoing game where you picked Per Ardua ad Astra in Australia, Deus Ex in China, Xenological Remedies in China, or We Have Ways in the USA, your starting bonus will disappear. The satellite bonuses should change over seamlessly.

To install, copy DefaultGameCore.ini and DefaultGameData.ini to your /XEW/XComGame/Config folder, and replace XComStrategyGame.int and XComGame.int in your /XEW/XComGame/Localization/INT/ folder. I recommend you keep backups of the original files. If you've modified these files yourself, you may want to use WinMerge to preserve your changes.
