Donations

Warning
If you use this mod, loot something, then save and later uninstall the mod that particular loot will not scale down again. Basically the change for the loot found while this mod is installed is permanent unless you revert to your older save. Once you uninstall the mod all loot that you find going forward will be back to the game's default settings.
Installation
Extract the downloaded 7z archive to your game directory, i.e. C:/GOG Games/The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY, or use Vortex.
Navigate to <game directory>/bin/config/r4game/user_config_matrix/pc and open "dx12filelist.txt".
Add the line "modBetterLoot.xml;" (without quotes) to the end of the file, save, and close.
Uninstall
Delete modBetterLootScaling from your mods folder, or use Vortex.
Go to <gamedir>\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc and delete modBetterLoot.xml
In the same folder open "dx12filelist.txt", remove the line "modBetterLoot.xml;" from the end of the file, save, and close.
