Permissions and credits
V1.22 Update 1(October 18) I forgot to include the economy file which is responsible for merchants having more funds, you sale your items at 90-95% of its value at most shops only 2 places its 85%. Reduced prices in half for crafting items, enchantments, repair, dissemble items/armors, removing upgrades. Fixed Geralt and Roach speeds. I increased the values too much and they were actually running/sprinting at slower speeds. Potions are slightly longer i think another 15 or 20% longer. Bombs/Petards have 100 more damage. When using witcher senses you can see items another 30% further. Enemies are spotted further out when using witcher senses around 20 or 25% increase. I also forgot i added my blue colored witcher sense colors so i did a version of the files with it included and a version without the blue witcher sense colors. Default vanilla witcher sense colors are Red and yellow. Relic Armors are worth using now. Increased bolt and crossbow damage as it still feels weak. Roach stamina and fear are increased slightly. Trophies are now actually useful. DLC armors are useful especially the Wolf armor and swords. I recommend using ESGO so that enemies scale closer to your level. Give higher priority to my mod though for example rename the folder mod00xml or modAxml then my stats will load over ESGOs enemy and monster stats. I have more enemy/monster health and i think more stamina added then ESGO version does.  Yrden and Yrden Alt trap times are increased, quen shield time increased and axii times increased. This stats overhaul should work on all game versions from 1.08.4 to 1.31 as stats dont get changed in new game versions normally its scripts, textures, meshes, animations that get changed in new game versions.

Updated for game version 1.22. If you want these huge stat overhaul to work on your game version that is newer is older you will need to use Winmerge or Script Merger. First unpack your startup.bundle file located at  The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content\content0\bundles\. Now let winmerge or script merge give favor to my xml files so that it copies all the values to your game versions xml files. Save the xml files and now repack it into a mod. I honestly dont think it matters what game version you are on as long as its 1.08 and up. I compared my previous old 1.08.4 stats to 1.22 and the only small changes was to the ingredients.xml  file plus a few nerf of the sign stats. So this should work on game version 1.22-1.31.


Stat improvements to armor/boots/gloves, longer oil/potion/mutagen durations, More stamina/toxicity, lower toxicity for potions/mutagens, more vitality, 4-5 skillpoints per lvl, more damage for swords/crossbows/bolts, better runes/trophies/bombs/mutagens, XP for all quests, better and more looting items and more items/orens in chests. Shops now have multiple items and higher chances of finding better items/weapons etc in the shops.  Geralt and Roach both run faster. It costs less stamina to run and hold your breathe underwater so you can swim for longer. You can receive bonus stats when leveling up to level 70 vanilla game stops giving you stats at lvl 40 or 45. Signs and bombs do more damage. Drunkenness effect is cut in half. You can carry up to 8875 lbs in inventory. Most items are stackable to 999.  Some stats like leveling, more stamina for geralt, increased toxicity will require a new save game or use the mod called Safe Develop for those stats to take effect on your current save game.  If using on a current save game you will have to drop alot of your items that are stacked at 99 or 100 and pick them up for it to restack at 999. Quests have no level requirements and removed or reduced level requirements for armor.

All dlc items and swords from base game have improved stats as well. New game Plus, Blood and Wine and HoS stats have not been added yet. Humans and Monsters have more health and have more stamina so they attack you around 20-25%  more. Fist fights on hard i have reduced enemy stamina by 25% so they cant sit there and block you all day. Keira, Yenn and Ciri do a little bit more damage. Ciri has more health and i added a small stamina regen to her stats also her Zireael Sword is alot more useful then it was at vanilla. If you thought the game was too easy before on the hardest two difficulties then the increased monster health combined with more aggressiveness/more attacks that they do toward you, you will enjoy the combat aspect of the game again. Signs are useful now. Bombs do better damage then vanilla I might still increase it another 150-200 damage.

I edited a lot of different xml files and made it one big tweak mod. all the edited stats should work on your current save game. the only stats that wont show up are the stats edited under Geralt stats.xml . Again for Geralt_stats.xml you WILL need to start a NEW GAME from the very beginning for those stats to take affect. This tweak is various stat improvements to armor, boots, gloves, longer potions durations, increased stamina, XP decreased for faster leveling, more skill points each levelup, increased critical chance to weapons etc. More stamina and health for your horse. Increased sizes of each saddlebag inventory weight by 40-50%.  I am not far enough into the game yet to confirm but I also lowered requirement levels for swords and armor and added increased chances of shops having better swords and armor. Stamina delay is cut in half for most things like running, jumping, sprinting, swimming etc.  Spells aka Signs Stamina cost decreased from 100 to 50 so you can use the spells more. Stamina delay in spells cut in half. Air regen for underwater is improved by 25%. Crafted Armor, Crafted gloves stats have been added. Mutagen and Trophy Stats have been added. DLC Nilfgaardian and DLC elite crossbow sets  have stat improvements they are a separate download.  As you can see in the comments section I respond to problems fairly quick usually within a couple hours I probably watch the comments section more then any other mod author on here. Just about every stat that can modded I did some of the stat changes are not listed below since there is so many.  NOW Updated for game version 1.08.  The file called 1.08 FULL STATS for patch bundle file in XML format will work for 1.08.1 update. The startup bundle 1.08 should work on 1.08.1 update as well MAKE SURE to backup your startup.bundle file first before trying the reimport method.


I have edited Ciri, Geralt and Yennefer's eye colors each one has about 6 or 7 different colors to choose from. I will be uploading them tomorrow August 25th. I just have to pack them back into game files. Triss does not have an eye color texture so she must share someone else's eye color just like vesemir shares geralt's eye color.

XMLv18 required folder this is the main stats
a nice improvement over my v17 stats
crossbows 1-3 now deal anywhere from 112 to 126% attack power then go up an additional 6-10% attack power for the other crossbows
longer potion durations, before it was 1 min 10 secs now its 8.5 mins /10.5 mins / 13 mins
longer duration for shrines of power aka signs power 
90% of the trophies have been reworked and are actually useful now
longer durations for armor and weapon buffs table when you go to an armor/blacksmith aka armor/weapon enhancements
added 6% for health to enemies on hard mode and 3% more damage. its actually still not enough, I use an enemy scaling mod with my stats
on death march I lowered the enemy health to 60% it was 80 or 90% at default
drunkness effect dropped down to 5 secs before it was 10 or 15 secs
Skills Tree tweaked a little bit
Whirl now has 25 fire damage added to it
Yrden slow down effect increased from 38 to 45% and duration increased 2 or 3 secs
Quen shield is now 6 or 10 secs longer and shield health is now 1006 before it was 875, it should take 1 more hit before the shield goes away
Wave skill has 24 firedamage added 
inventory weight increased to 1995 before it was 1580
oil durations are now longer its set at 1800/2000/2500 before it was 200-400 less
also added better oil icons, oils should be grouped together now. credit to original author
all swords now have 2-4 enhancement slots, most of them are only 1 more enhancement slot added
armor and weapon stats slightly tweaked 2-8% it varies
tweaked the containers/chests and hidden loot for example tree stumps to give even more money
i see people are just now making mods to where beer gives you health my mods have done that since game version 1.05 or 1.07
water, food, beer also have 3-5 sec longer duration on the effect so it gives you more vitality
runes for swords and armor have stat improvements of 8%  / 12% and 15% 
 you can hold your breathe under water for quite some time i think its 5-6 mins or so before you have to come up for air
majority of stats that can be modified have been changed
more stamina and toxicity for Geralt 
more stamina and panic for Roach so you can run for longer and get scared less
im working on making Roach sprint faster
I have a folder for Geralt called modSlowerWalkFasterRun you have 4 different versions to choose from to make Geralt walk slower which is useful
for boats and certain areas and also make him run noticeable faster and even an option to make him run faster then Roach 
The folders are modded script files and are included with the v18 stats full description of each folder is inside the rar file in a text file

modPlaceofPowers folder you NEED this folder
it sets the time for the shrine powers to almost 41 mins before it was at 36 or 38mins

modRewards is an optional folder
i highly recommend this folder. it modifies the money you get for completing quests. I did only 1 or 2 quests in velen and I already had almost 11,000 crowns. I modified some of the xp on quests but its small amounts anywhere from 10 to 75 more xp. Mainly added more money to every quests also
got rid of level requirements for quests so know you get xp for all quests. Instead of grey quests giving you only 5xp you get the normal amount of xp that quests give you.

Update August 24 new Modkit mod out has 2 different mods in one rar file. 
Geralt running faster and lower prices for all items at vendors/armors/inns/blacksmith
you can catch up to deer now before in vanilla game you trail behind them by 15 or so feet

The middle of September I am going to add more versions of the Gwent card mod. Currently it only has stats for Special, Neutral, Northern Kingdom and Nilfgaard card sets. I will be adding the other sets as well plus a couple versions that lower the power/strength and effects/abilities on certain decks. Thus if you are having trouble playing a certain Gwent player that uses a certain deck you can install the mod that lowers that decks strength and abilities to improve your chances of beating them. Have also added a Gwent tips text file to explain how abilities and effects work plus general tips for Gwent.

Merchants now have 18x the amount of money compared to Vanilla game version.
Merchants now give you 85% of the value of the item you are selling.
Repair costs for armor/weapons reduced by 90% its almost free.
XP for monsters is set at either 3x or 4x

Geralt now runs faster, alot easier to catch up to animals running away from you compared to vanilla version

Horse Stats further improved more stamina and panic, faster regen of health and stamina. 
Improved animal and monster loot by spawning more animals and 1-2 more monsters. Still testing to see if i can get it to spawn more quantity of the rare item drops .
Added an additional 7-8 more skillpoints by the time you reach level 70. You get close to maxing out all abilities now if you want to.
 
TO INSTALL -- pick one startup.bundle file from the first 3 links at the top of the download page. Each one has a description what is different. The startup bundle file is optional but I do recommend it. Next you need the patch.bundle and XML.bundle file its the ones that say version 9B or version 10 this is the 155mb link and is the main two files REQUIRED for your stat improvements to take effect. The next two links are DLC items that are optional and are just better stat improvements of those DLC items. Each rar file has a text log explaining where to install the files to.

Download link for the new DLC10 Wolf Gear Armor and Sword Stats have been added changelog is inside the rar file. Both the actual modded bundle file and the xml files are included incase you want to manually edit the stats then reimport them back into the blob.bundle file for the DLC. Armor has 5-10% better stats with 1 to 2 enhancement slots added. Swords deal anywhere from 10-15% more damage, around 20-75 more health taken away from monsters.

if there is any problems/bugs let me know under the post section and I will fix it quick. this is tested on game versions 1.05 and 1.06 it should work on the other game versions as well but backup your patch.bundle file FIRST before attempting to reimport the xml file.

Version 11 changes compared to my other versions is:
air drain while diving in water reduced by 30%
blindness effect and wraith blindness both reduced by 1
drowning effect damage is cut in half
choking effect damage is cut in half
drunk effect further reduced from 15 to 10
Paralyzed effect reduced by 1
immbolized and hypnotized effect reduced by 1
burning effect damage reduced by 4%
enhanced armor and weapon effects from mutagens/potions duration increased an additional 50.
OverEncumbered Effect is now 10 before the duration lasts until you got rid of some weight, now it should only last 10 mins. Hasnt been tested yet let me know if it works correctly or if its bugged.
Ragdoll effect reduced by 1 duration. This only occurs after dying or possibly being hit too hard/stunned and knocked down. Basically your body wont bounce around for as long. If you want it to be funny i guess you could double or triple the duration time for more bounce effect.
poison effect duration reduced by 1 min
poison damage reduced by 1%
Cat Eye Effect highlight objects range and enemies range both increased by 10 yards at level 1
Cat Eye Effect highlight enemies range increased by 15 yards at level 2
Cat Eye Effect doubled at level 3

each folder name inside the rar file will have the description of the oil charges

To install you would copy the whole folder of the oil durations you want  to Witcher3/content/content0/bundles folder and then reimport that xml file into the xml.bundle file from version 11B or any of my other previous versions


This tweak mod uses 19 or 20 different xml files to edit various things. Most likely this mod will not work with any other mods. But its pretty much made to where this is the only mod you will need. Majority of the stats have been improved upon compared to the vanilla game. There is a couple mods the fair sale and shop price mods that edit the startup.bundle file in a different folder that will work with this mod. The longer oil durations that edits the xml.bundle file under content0 folder will work with this mod. Any mod that edits the patch.bundle file under your patch0/bundle folder will most likely not work with my Tweak mod.



HOW to INSTALL the files this is for the links that say XML files only version 7
there is a folder called mods this just has the edited/tweaked xml files inside it. you will need the quickbms program to reimport the xml files into your patch.bundle file. you can further edit the xml files if you want thats why i left them inside the folder called Mod. if you dont want to edit the xml files then just completely ignore the Mods folder. 

Instead just worry about the patch.bundle file and copy it to witcher3/content/patch0/bundle folder.  MAKE SURE to first backup your current patch.bundle before you replace it with mine. And also make backups of your save games just for added safety.

Toxicity Regen whic is under Toxicity Effect table is increased by 10% to help get rid of toxicity faster
Boosted Vitality Regen increased by 100 im assumming it just adds an additional 100HP
well fed and well hydrated effects the duration is increased by 5
Enhanced weapon and armor effects durations increased from 900 to 990
Boosted Vitality Regen increased from 500 to 600
 
effects potions.xml
alot of the potions have either 5% or 10% increased durations, 5-10% increased regen, and anywhere from
30 to 100 more hp added to any potion that gives you vitality
100hp isnt until the 2nd or 3rd level of the potion

Geralt levelups.xml
is for how fast you level up your character i set it to where by 6000xp you are already level 10.
Each level up you get 2 skill points instead of 1.
By level 12 to 13 i only dropped the xp requirement by 2000 sometimes up to 2500 xp less required for each level.

Geralt skills.xml 
in general I increased the durations of skills/attacks anywhere from 2 to 4 sometimes up to 5
critial hit chance increased by 5%
fleet footed increased damage reduction by 50%
on the signs which is your magic i increased stamina regen by 5 or 10%
I also decreased the stamina delay by 2 so that you can use the magic more often
By magic i mean Aard, Igni, Yrden etc 
I also decreased the stamina cost per sign by 50
on the Quen shield i increased the duration to 30 and the health of the shield by 550hp
on skill trees i reduced the amount of required points by 65-75%
skill slots are unlocked at lower levels probably by at least 75-80%
mutagen slots are reduced by 80%

Geralt stats
I increased stamina from 100 to 500
swimming stamina from 100 to 300
air/oxygen increased from 100 to 300  i think this is only for underwater
critical hit chance increased from 5% to 15%
critical hit damage bonus increased by 5%
toxicity increased from 100 to 300
Inventory Weight increased from 60 to 99
Vitality Regen outside of combat increased from 1 to 3
Vitality Regen during combat increased from 1 to 2
Stamina Regen increased from 1 to 2

inventory weight i left at 99 but you can edit it up to 999 or 9999
the line for the inventory weight is
<encumbrance type="base" always_random="false" min="99" max="99" />

make sure you change both the min and max numbers and add no more then 9999!
you can right click the .xml file and open with either notepad or notepad ++ and then save the changes
after you edit it. i highly suggest you make a backup of the xml file before you edit it.
it can be very tricky for every character that you add you must subtract a character somewhere else
normally a comment for instance <!-- Resources group --> is a comment and if you change it to
<!--Resources group-->  notice how i took out the spaces between the word so it counts as 2 characters
smaller so i can now add up to 2 more characters somewhere else.

for the encumbrance since its default number is 60 which is 2 characters long and say you change it to 99
then you dont have to delete any characters or spaces somewhere else. but if you change it to any number
from 100 to 999 you added a total of 2 characters and my example above with the spaces taken out leaves
you covered. basically you have to leave the xml file the same exact size as before you edit it.
Anything you edit under geralt stats.xml you need to start a new game for everything to show up and take effect.
I havent played through the game long enough to pay attention to if the stat changes done in geralt stats.xml
actually does apply to a current save game file but from the comments on nexus it seems only a newly created
game from the beginning will work.

Def item Alchemy Petards.xml
durations are usually 5% increase some are 10% very few are 15%
some of the bombs etc have an extra 100 damage
I believe I increased the total number of bombs to either 8 or 9
Def item Alchemy Potion.xml
i decreased the toxicity on all potions by about 10 on most some of them might be 15 
increased durations on the potions by 10 some are 15 and some are 20
oxygen and underwater bonus potion increased the duration by 50
def item alchemy recipes potions.xml
the only thing on this one is ingredient requirements for potions
i basically cut in half the requirements for each ingredient needed for each potion

def item horse.xml
i increased roach vitality from 100 to 300
increased stamina from 100 to 200
increased panic from 100 to 200
sprint stamina delay is about 65% less so you can sprint more
stamina increased by 40-50 for each horse level
im assumming you level up your horse by horse races?
panic increased by 10-15 so that its harder for your horse to get fear
saddle bags for the horse are increased from 30 to 50 for bag 1.  so you can carry more weight
saddle bags for horse bag 2 increased from 70 to 90
saddle bags for horse bag 3 increased from 100 to 150

def item ingredients.xml
greater mutagen green vitality increased by 200hp
bonus of the mutagens increased by 5% to 10%
blue mutagens the spell power is increased by 5%
red mutagens the attack power is increased by 5% or 10%

def item misc.xml
the only thing useful in here is the weapon and armor repair kits  I increased each level by 10-15
this should just increase how much durability the weapon has or increases how much more of the
weapon is repaired 

def item upgrades.xml
this one is for weapon rune upgrades. i increased the lesser rune buff by 3%
increased the normal rune and greater rune buff by 5%

def loot shops.xml
this one is an interesting one. its for what the shops may carry and weapon requirement levels.
I reduced the weapon requirement levels of all weapons anywhere from 30-60%
the armors are on there as well and did roughly the same decrease in requirement levels by 40-60%
rune requirements reduced by 40-50%
also whats interesting in this xml file is under the shops they have certain weapons and armor listed
and toward the end of the line it says chance. so this should mean the percentage that you may get
that armor,weapon or rune to show up with that certain shop,merchant etc.
i changed a couple of the weapons and armors to a higher chance of it showing up with the shop
I havent tested it out yet but this would be your best bet for getting a certain armor, rune or weapon.

if you want to manually edit  and improve your chances of a certain weapon/rune/or armor being with a
certain shop when editing the loot shop.xml first look for the line that contains the weapon you want
scroll all the way to the right until you see chance=   now change this number to either 1 or -1
if you do chance=-1   make sure you delete a space somewhere. you must delete a space for every -1
that you add.

this is an example of where to delete an extra space:

as you may notice <!-- STEEL - NOV --> you can change it to <!--STEEL - NOV--> and you reduced your
character count by 2 so now you can edit two different lines of chance= to -1
also on <loot_entry name="Skellige sword 2" line you will notice that all the way to the right it says 
chance="1". this is what i meant that you have to change the code to chance="1" or chance="-1" for
the weapon/rune/armor to show up at a certain shop. once you find the sword that you want scroll up some until you find the name of the
shop and shortly above that it should tell you what town the shop is located in.
 
took me hours and hours to edit those xml files enjoy!
