About this mod

This mod gets rid of the two least detailled presets in the graphic-menu and instead adds two new custom presets. These increase quality of foliage, shadows and other details and can be selected individually within the game. On top of that, we added a Sweet-FX-profile.

This mod gets rid of the two least detailled presets in the graphic-menu and instead adds two new custom presets. These increase quality of foliage, shadows and other details and can be selected individually within the game - just use the sliders in the options menu. On top of that, we added a Sweet-FX-profile.

For The Witcher 3 v1.07.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I'm somewhat busy. New version gets rid of the dependency of user.settings, so you can keep all your predone settings (Hud, post-processing, language, controls, etc.).

Installation:

1) Download and install Sweet Fx.
2) Secure your old configuration: Move or rename and change suffix of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\rendering.xml
3) Download Mod
4) Unzip and copy the content of the archive to The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\ replacing existing files (old rendering.xml is included in the archive - so if you didn't do 2), don't sweat it).
7) Close Fraps, Afterburner and other overlays to prevent sweetfx-, reshade-related crash while starting the game. Reactivate once ingame.
9) Startup the game. You should see reshade activating in the top-left corner of the screen (compiling effect ... success).
8) Redo your graphics settings
9) Vanilla Ultra is now Medium. High- and Ultra-Settings are custom. High is for high-end-GPUs, Ultra for extremly fast OC'd cards or mGPU-setups.

See pcgameshardware.de for more images, comparison and benchmarks with new settings (scroll below, select the benchmarks-pull-down-menu for custom presets).

I really should be giving this more attention, still too much to do (as getting ready for Gamescom right now)

Try this slider for better comparison.
