I have been asked to post this, so here it is. I just took W2 textures from Redkit and swapped them. I just prefer the overall look of Witcher 2. I have not tested this at all, so there might be some weird glitches somewhere. Take this as it is.
Also, I highly suggest that you use Lod Mod , otherwise changes between high lods and low lods - proxy meshes with this retexture will be REALLY apparent, so yea, use that. If you don't mind the swapping textures when you get close, then you don't have to use it. But I tell you, it really is an eye-sore. At least with the lod mod, a great deal of the swapping is taken care of.
If you use any large retexture mod (like HDRW), give priority to my mod, otherwise you won't see my textures.
