About this mod

Brings the camera closer to Geralt when not in combat. It's now closer and over Geralt's shoulder, instead of far away and behind him. Similar to the indoor/encumbered camera position in the vanilla game, but now it's like that all the time except for in combat, during cutscenes, and when on horseback.

The camera zooms out during combat, and uses the default zoom for Roach.

Installation:
- Just unzip the download file and drop the modCloseCam folder into your Witcher 3/mods folder. If you don't have a mods folder, create one.
- If you're feeling particularly saucy, there's also a rough 1st person exploration/3rd person combat version available for download.

To customize the camera position to your own liking:
- Drill down through the subfolders of modCloseCam, all the way to r4Player.ws
- Line 3284 sets the camera position for combat
- Line 3297 sets the camera position for exploration - both indoors and outdoors
(Text editors like Notepad++ and SublimeText can be used to view line numbers)
- To change the position for each of these cases, you want to look at the DampVectorSpring() lines and edit the three comma delimited values in the Vector() parameter. The parameters for Vector are in the order of: horizontal, depth, height.

Known bugs:
- When indoors, upon exiting a conversation with an NPC, the camera stays centered directly behind Geralt instead of going over his shoulder. The camera fixes itself when you leave the building.
- If you are indoors when first loading into your game, the camera will be the default outside camera from the vanilla game. The camera fixes itself when you leave the building.
- The camera tends to freak out when you're overencumbered. I recommend you get Remove Weight Limit (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/340?) and forget that encumbrance was ever even in this game.
- It's been reported that fast travel is bugged using the first person config, though I can't imagine why.
