Just my personal mod of random cheats to power through the game on Death March difficulty.

Bug UPDATE: Flawed installation instructions from version 1.01 caused graphics glitch. 1.02 installation instructions fixed it.

############################################CHANGE LOG Version 1.02##########################################################
Tested and modded on version 1.05 of Witcher 3.

New in version 1.2!, Gave all relics weapons a ridiculous 8 rune slots and added a ton of other buffs to relic weapons. Also removed all standard runes type relic weapon affixes. For example, burning, freezing, poison etc no longer come standard to specific relic weapons because i removed them in place of 8 rune slots. Also removed instant kill chance on all relic weapons that originally came standard with it, 8 rune slots is incredibly powerful enough. NOTE!: I am not sure if the steel relic and silver relic weapons stats stack together. If they do indeed stack then id only recommend equipping 1 relic weapon as 2 equipped would be stupidly overpowered stats. Let me know if they do or do not stack in comment section.

##################################Installation##################################################

Fixed graphical glitch/invisible textures from version 1.01, 1.02 new installation instructions and a new mod. 1.01 installation instructions caused textures to not load or load improperly.

This is a bit of a pain in the ass but to me its totally worth it. I perfer this way over the "QUICKBMS" way because i am able to mod more things. QUICKBMS method would not have allowed me to bring you the relic weapon mod.

1. Download my mod

2. Open my mod and take a good look at the directory structure

3. Go to Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content   and look at that structure

4. Extract my mod into this directory >>>   Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content

    After extraction your directory should look like this sorted by name/Alphabetical order

5. Now you need to copy and paste "ONLY" the "BUNDLES" folders into their "MIRRORED" folders that i made in my RAR. Leave the other loose files in the content# and patch0 folders alone, do not move or copy them over.

        It should be about 12 gigs worth of bundles folders that you copied into my ready made folders.
       
        If you skip step 5 or screw up the process your game will not load the bundles in proper order and you will have invisible textures.

6. Now make a backup of metadata.store. Metadata.store is located inside that same directory Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content

7. Now delete metadata.store, its ok the game will rebuild a brand new one once you start up witcher3.exe again. Metadata.store will now rebuild properly into the new load order of my "ready made" content folders.

8. Now PLAY!!! new game and old saves compatible!.

1. Delete my file structure extracted from my rar from Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content
2. Restore backup of metadata.store or just delete the one located in Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content

You can pick a choose which mod you want to use simply by unpacking my mod bundle and removing the files you do not want to use then repacking it. I do not recommend modifying any of the files yourself if you dont know what you are doing, you can really screw shit up the files are extremely sensitive to the QUICKBMS method of modding. Just delete the file you do not want and repack.

This is a personal mod i created for playing Death March difficulty level.

Random Cheats Mod for version 1.05 of Witcher 3, by fox23. Version 1.00 no longer works for patch 1.05 so i updated it to work for it.

Tested and working on a saved game halfway through the story, all mods active, there is no need to start a new game.

Any mod that alter geralt_skills.xml. geralt_stats.xml. def_item_trophies.xml. and def_item_upgrades will have conflicts with my mod.

First make sure you either have a clean install of the game or have restored all you "BUNDLES"(patch.bundle/xml.bundle) to original values from previous backups.

1. Extract rar into Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content    
2. After extraction the folder directory should look like this

3. Backup metadata.store incase something screws up, its located inside the content folder you just extracted my rar into
4. Delete the metedata.store to allow my mod to implement new changes
5. Starting the game up via witcher3.exe should automatically rebuild a new metadate.store with my mod
6. All changes should now be applied and ready to play.

Changes are too numerous and my lazy ass was too lazy to log it all down. Just know that this is a 'RANDOM' cheat mod so you get what you get. If you dont like it you can change it easily. Most of the changes from 1.00 are in 1.01 so look further below for an idea of what i changed.

Modified geralt_skills.xml-----------------------------------------
touched mainly the sword skill tree and a little bit of the potion tree. Did nothing to the signs tree. All skill and mutagen boxes unlocked at level 1.

Modified geralt_stats.xml------------------------------------------
you should see the changes as soon as you enter game and open up your charater screen. Incrceased encumberance to 6000, stamina very high, health high, tripled crit chance, etc etc etc basic shit

Modified def_item_trophies.xml----------------------------------
gave about 80%+ trophies big buffs from 0.05 to 1.05 and made dismemberment trophies 1000% so to always have gore chance.

made all greater runes 33% so its 99% stacked at 3 on a relic sword. Did not touch glyphs.

Installation Instructions

1.Download 'QuickBMS' from this link  "Modding Tutorial including .bundle extractor tool by Polymorpher"

2.Extract the rar you just downloaded from '1.' into Witcher 3\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content\patch0\bundles
3.Download my mod
4.Extract my mod into same folder destination as '2.'
5.Make a copy/backup of 'patch.bundle', its located inside the content\patch0\bundles
6.Click on 'reimport.bat', there now will follow 3 selection boxes (one at a time):

1.navigate to \content\patch0\bundles and select -> witcher3.bms -> open
2.navigate to \content\patch0\bundles and select -> patch.bundle -> open
3.navigate to \content\patch0\bundles and select -> mymod -> open -> save
(just open the folder mymod and don't select anything in there just click enter or click the save button)
4. Close the command window by pressing RETURN.

The changes are now applied to the patch.bundle and ready to PLAY!. Enjoy! this crap took me 2 hours to edit...

Warning: new game may be required for all the changes to take effect, some changes roll over on old saves but not all.

NOT COMPATIBLE with any other mod that modified the same files i used.

UNinstallation

1.Make a backup/copy of patch.bundle, its located inside the same folder The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content\patch0\bundles
2.Restore original backed up copy of patch.bundle
3.If you forgot to make a backup of patch.bundle...reinstall game or you may find it floating around somewhere on nexus.

"geralt stats.xml"-------------------------------------------------------------

Changed Vitality from 3500 to 9500
Changed Stamina from 100 to 900
Changed Air/breathe from 100 to 300
Changed swimming stamina from 100 to 300
Changed Toxicity from 100 to 900
Changed Encumbrance from 60 to 999
Changed Vitality Regen from 1 to 20 out of combat
Changed Vit Regen in combat 1 to 2
Changed Critical hit chance from 0.05 to 0.15(5% to 15%)


"Def_item_upgrades.xml"--------------------------------------------------------

All Greater Runestones changed from 5% chance to 25% chance. With a relic weapon with 3 slots 75% chance is a bit overkill.
Greater Svarog Runestone from 30 armor reduction to 60

Changed lesser Glyphs from 2% to 25%


"Geralt_skills.xml"-------------------------------------------------------

Could not change many things because of confusing name descriptions. Skill names in Geralt_skills don't match with skill names from in game...gaaah!. Will take a while to match up the right names to skill, probably 24 hours. It took me almost two hours just to edit these few tweaks. Id prefer if someone else did an overhaul of the skill tree as i really dont know what im doing.

Deadly Precision instant kill chance per point of adrenaline changed from 1% to 5%. So now instead of 3% chance at 3 bars its 15%. 3% was already good but 15% is overkill.

Fleet Footed damage reduced from dodging changed from 20% to 50%
Lightning Reflexes time slowed down while aiming crossbow from 15% to 50%
Undying cooldown reactivation availability lowered from 30 seconds to 10 seconds
Undying heal activation now heals 75% health instead of 15%

Increase Yrden trap duration from 10 sec to 20 sec
Increase Quen shield duration from 30 to 90 sec
Increase Quen Shield base health points before breaking from 200 to 500
Quen exploding shield knockdown chance from 15 to 35%

Alchemy section---

Changed potion duration from 1.05 to 9.05 not sure how that calculates in game, hopefully a huge increase in time. Beware don't use CAT potion with this change....EDIT:Tested it and it comes out to 900%+ duration...really freaking stupid overkill lol.

Heightened Tolerance skill, increase potion overdose threshold from 1% to 21%
Steady Aim bomb throwing bullet time from 15% to 50%
Pyrotechnics, bombs that usually don't deal damage now deals 130 points of damage.
Efficiency, increase the number of bombs you can carry from 1 to 9
Buffed Sun and stars from 10 to 100 and 1 to 20
Survival Instinct buffed from 500 to 500,000( lazy god mode)
Adrenaline Burst adrenaline gain from 5% to 60%
Metabolism Control maximum toxicity from 30 to 3000( for all those high tolerance Witcher potionholics)
