Archaeological evidence suggests that after the Roman occupation of Egypt, Coptic Christians continued to maintain the ancient kingdoms’ holy sites and tombs, sometimes re-purposing them into Christian places of worship. The imprints that these early Christians left show that Egypt’s ancient spiritual aesthetic traditions lived on despite the dramatic political changes that came with the occupation and its subsequent collapse. The old Egyptian religion is impossibly distant to us now, but when did it fade, and how?

At the peak of the Middle Ages, Christianity had yet to wipe out ancient religions from Europe; could not a religion so ancient, so devotedly formalized and documented as Egypt’s hold its own as well? The Roman occupation connected Egypt with the distant northern realms of Gaul and Britain - what could these newly linked peoples learn from each other, of each other’s stories and magic?

Might the mages and witchers have taken custody of this hybrid knowledge, practicing it and protecting it from evangelical threats? Might these classes of artisans and warriors have developed over centuries, grown from the human networks laid centuries before during the Roman occupation?

Might Geralt have wandered a territory vaster than any Medieval kingdom, long forgotten by generations of squabbling sovereigns? Might he have come to the northern realms from a land beyond them, and indeed beyond their most distant neighbors?

I mean, wouldn’t all that just be awesome?

Features: Darker skin, darker eyes (brown with bright highlights in the iris), and kohl on his right eye

Changes from 1.2 to 1.3: Fixed weird hair root colors; his roots are the original grey now. Also tweaked his skin tone to be less prone to turning Jersey Shore orange with some common lighting mods.

Updates Status Report:
Working on editing his head model and releasing a package that lets you choose a combination of new facial structure, skin tone, and bald/long hair. Maybe your Geralt is a Cuban uncle, or a Connot Kenway type, or an afro blue kinda Nubian dude. Or whatever you go with. Current snag is a character lighting issue with the new face model. Just like... give me a minute. It'll get done. Here are some teasers.
