About this mod

Alter the cost of dismantling with various options! From cheap to a more balanced approach that is cheaper for more expensive items, but more expensive for junk items. After all, dismantling 20 hides is tough work and it should cost just as much as melting down a sword.

Permissions and credits
-  For Witcher 3 version 1.31

- Ah Dismantling, a nice money sink if there ever was one. Especially in the early game, this can be cumbersome. This mod offers five different levels for adjusting Dismantling costs to fit your desired style. I tried to make something for everyone, from those who want it cheap and easy to those who'd like a more balanced approach to keep the game interesting far as expenses.

- Option One: <-- I consider this a cheat.
- Dismantling costs only 1 crown per. This covers all items able to be dismantled from hides to swords to crafting ingredients.

- Option Two: <-- I consider this a cheat. Just not as much as the above.
- Dismantling costs only 3 crown per. This covers all items able to be dismantled from hides to swords to crafting ingredients.

- Option Three: <-- I consider this a cheat. Just not as much as the above.
- Dismantling costs only 5 crown per. This covers all items able to be dismantled from hides to swords to crafting ingredients. Note that some junk will actually cost a tad more to dismantle, but still the savings is extreme for more pricey items.

- Option Four: <-- This is the less harsh version and one I recommend for normal people.
- Dismantling costs only 20 crown per. This covers all items able to be dismantled from hides to swords to crafting ingredients. Note large items will be much cheaper to dismantle but junk items will cost much more as well, so there may be some balance here to off-set the cheap cost of breaking down lavish swords and armor.

- Option Five: My recommended version for people playing the game for a crafting challenge.
- Dismantling costs only 35 crown per. This covers all items able to be dismantled from hides to swords to crafting ingredients. As with the above choice, expensive items are much cheaper to break down- but the cost of junk items is vastly increased. Note this WILL make the game harder if you are a dismantling crafting component hoarder of reckless abandon.

- Example Using Option Five:
- Vanilla Game Dismantling 4 swords, two blue and two orange.
- Vanilla Dismantling 3 Crafting stacks ranging from sizes of 14 to 46 using Blood, Furs and Claws.
- Total Cost: 1525
- Swords accounted for over 1100 crowns of the cost.

- 35c Mod Game Dismantling 4 swords, two blue and two orange.
- 35c Mod Dismantling 3 Crafting stacks ranging from sizes of 14 to 46 using Blood, Furs and Claws.
- Total Cost: 2485
- Swords accounted for only 140 crowns of the cost. The rest was in the stacks being dismantled, especially the 46 nekker bloods.

- Why make junk items more expensive than the base games? Easy, it still takes effort and time to break down stacks of hides, 10 candelabras, or a box of human skulls- so a smith needs more for his time than a mere crown or so for each. This also helps balance the cost reduction for more expensive items such as higher-tier weapons/armor (blue/yellow/orange) and class pieces.

- Don't like it? Well simple, don't use the mod. Freedom of choice is great.
