Low FPS config, for those who cannot run this game in any other way. updated for v 1.31

*NOTE*
The config doesn't have my personal settings anymore, instead, it has only what's needed, although it will restore other settings to default if not set, so you might need to change your settings (mouse sensitivity, gameplay settings etc..)

This config still allows facial features to be seen (Eyebrows, scars etc..), which ultra low settings would otherwise destroy,
it runs in 640x480, you can go lower or higher if you want by changing the option within the "user.options" file.

Texture quality is very low.. characters get 256, and the world gets 128(world textures can cause a performance decrease, especially to low RAM GPUs).
if you have a good amount of GPU RAM, feel free to crank them up (rendering.ini).

MaxTextureSize=256 (Game textures - which is also for characters, weapons etc..)
MaxAtlasTextureSize=128 (World textures - walls, floor etc..)

NOTE: Use only the powers of 2 as a numerical value for these modifiers. (8,16,32,64,128 ... 1024,2048,4096 etc..).

I'm well aware of the "full screen resolution bug" which sets the game to the default 1024x768 resolution,
but, there's a trick for that, you simply set the desktop resolution to 640x480, which you do like so:








From the "List all modes" list, pick the resolution you have set in "user.options" and start the game.

Press OK again and your desktop will apply the new resolution, start the game and enjoy.

GPU: 730 GT
RAM: 8 GB

With this config, Witcher 3 is now playable for me (Though I cranked up the texture quality a bit and it doesn't look as horrible as those screenshots).

it also important to state that I removed the greenery from the game, if you wish to do so, search for low fps guides, I'm sure it will come up.. you just remove a couple of files in the game directory...
