Roach will now wait a specified amount of time before parking and stop if the player comes near. Whistling can be configured to act as a toggle, making her follow you until you whistle again. Additionally, the horse will no longer bump into you when called but instead stop at a safe distance.
This mod also fixes the following identified horse related bugs:
These hair fixes are also available as a standalone bugfix mod for those not interested in the AI changes.
INSTALLATION
Use Vortex or manually extract file into the mods folder and move the included bin folder to the root game directory.
Add the line "thoughtfulroach.xml;" without the quotes to dx11filelist.txt or dx12filelist.txt located in "bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc"
Run Script Merger to identify and solve potential conflicts with other mods in your setup.
SETTINGS
Navigate to the mods option menu once ingame, then configure manually or use a preset.
KNOWN ISSUES
The settings menu is only localized for English, French, German, Polish, Brazilian-Portuguese, Latin American Spanish and Japanese. You can help improve this by translating a small strings file available in the miscellaneous downloads section. Post it and I will include it in the next update.

- Missing tail;
- Missing or half mane shown on next horse spawn after switching from a saddle that covers the neck to one which doesn't;
- Wrong tail shown on next horse spawn after switching from any of the Toussaint saddles to any of the others;
- Horse mane displayed incorrectly over the Caparison of Lament saddle.
