***Updated for Next-Gen Edition version 4.0.4 - Thanks to Nexus user Feregorn for the update***

Basically, I didn't like using the alternate key to trigger heavy attack. I found I never used it. So I set it up so that tapping right mouse alone triggers the heavy attack, with two install options. In the first, holding right mouse still triggers guard. Riposte functions the same, you press right mouse at the correct timing in their attack animation. Just make sure you hold right mouse (as if guarding, or at least 200 milliseconds) until you see the riposte animation trigger. Basically you would be doing this anyways, because in the event you mistime a riposte you'll at least be blocking the attack.

The second install option in the ReadMe has holding right mouse trigger the special heavy attack (ie Rend). In this version, guard/riposte is linked to the 'e' key during combat and functions the same as it always does. The main zip contains instructions to incorporate the keybind, note that it's a little trickier because it involves overwriting the existing guard commands instead of just adding the new commands. There is an optional keybind 'input.settings' file available for download with the changes already made to the vanilla key configuration if that makes it easier. It's just the default keybinds with the heavy attack and 'e' guard changes already made. Note they need to be combined with the the script edit as well in the main zip file.

As a second suggestion, you can now bind dodge to 'Shift' during combat since the alternate key isn't really useful for anything anymore, and alt is a little tricky to hit if you're not just using double-tap direction anyways.

This mod works for both sword fighting and fist fighting (hence the script). I think it's a little more intuitive for both, and makes it a little easier to throw in an opportunistic heavy attack.
