Greetings! Update 2.0 is out now with a fully playable prologue! - Yoo-hoo! The time to become a real monster slayer has come! Put your VR headset on and let's crush some balls! ⚔️
Every detail, every single prop was recovered, carefully transferred from the original game, remodeled and retextured, then placed where they exactly should be with detailed analyses and love.
Each cutscene was remade from scratch as painstakingly as possible. It's a VR game, and you have the ability to rotate your head everywhere at any time, so I added some extra lore-based content for almost every cutscene, and by that, I promise that even if you played the original game, the experience still would be new and refreshing.
In addition, I also recovered a couple of cut dialogues from the original game.
I know that you'll enjoy it. :)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should remove the line "The Witcher)" if it appears during destination location selection in order for the modification to function properly. Only the root directory should be used during installation! —Big thanks to Niko for pointing out the issue.
If you'll face any problem related to the improper work of the sword, like you beat an enemy, but damage's not applying, then just drop and immediately take your sword back. [like in this video] Also if one of your hands vanished just press Insert in the keyboard. Those bugs were almost fixed, but some events still could trigger ones, so JFYI.
Practically all textures were upscaled to 4k resolution, and so if you have some problems with performance -> just lower a bit quality of textures. If you have any advice/wishes/reports/commentaries in general feel free to post them in the forum/comments section.
ABOUT GAMEPLAY:
To pull the sword off just grab it from your back [scabbard] (like in this picture)
You can throw your sword into the enemy and it actually will apply damage to him.
In addition, you have other scabbards in a pelvis zone, but it's kinda bugged, so you can actually just put the sword into your stomach and the game will think that's ok. Speaking honestly, primarily it was a bug, but then I decided that this shit is too hard to fix, so let it be it will an "Additional Scabbards" feature because WHY NOT.
Interaction. So you can interact with the world, not Half-Life Alyx of course but The-Witcher Geralt. You can take anything except the furniture/food(except the drinks)/npc's weapons.
INSTALLATION:
Download and unzip the archive
Run Setup.bat
Enter the path to the game folder [Ex.: C:\GOG\The Witcher]
Wait until another installer starts
On the folder selection page, choose your location of the game folder [Ex.: C:\GOG\The Witcher]

Are dialogues and cutscenes presented in first-person? - Dialogues - yes, cutscenes - most of them.

How can I improve the quality of the game on my screen for my video? - Game settings → enable Youtuber Mode.
How to go back to the main menu? - ESC / INSERT on your keyboard.
My left / right hand disappeared, how to fix it? - HOME / END / DEL on your keyboard.
YOUTUBER MODE: You can find this option in settings, but be careful, speaking honestly it's kinda ass-optimized. This mode allows you to record a fullscreen game in FullHD, 90 FOV, except for some screen effects.
KEY BINDS:

HOME / END / DEL - For that cases when one or both of your hand's vanished
