This mod removes the blur effect from the Blizzard potion, but time still slows down, and Geralt is still faster than everything else.
I think the blur that comes with using the Blizzard potion is a cool special effect, but it can get annoying after awhile if you use the Blizzard potion a lot, and it gives some people actual motion sickness. Hence this mod.
Like all of my mods, this is for The Witcher 1, NOT The Witcher 2.
INSTALLATION
This mod goes into your The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data folder. I recommend that people make an Override folder inside their Data folder and put their mod files into that, so that they don't get their mod files confused with the files that come with the game.
Notice that your The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data folder is NOT where your saved games are; it's where your program files are. The exact location of this folder varies, depending on whether you bought the game on disk, got it from GOG.com, or got it from Steam.
If you have trouble finding your Data folder, then go to the shortcut that you use to start the game, right-click on it, and scroll down to Properties, then click on that. The Properties box that pops up will have a path to your launcher.exe or witcher.exe file in a box labelled Target. Make note of that path! The path to launcher.exe will lead you to your The Witcher Enhanced Edition folder, which will have four subfolders: Data, Launcher, Register, and System. The path to witcher.exe will lead you to your The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System folder. Just go up one level, and you'll be in your The Witcher Enhanced Edition folder, where you'll see those four subfolders: Data, Launcher, Register, and System.
