In this mod:

- Realistic handling for all vehicles, based on "You got a fast car" by Karstedt http://www.nexusmods.com/stateofdecay/mods/18/?

- New textures (paint job) for all vehicles.

- New adjusted number of inventory slots, based on "Realistic 'Rucks In Trucks' Mod" by SilentResident http://www.nexusmods.com/stateofdecay/mods/120/?

- New Weights for all vehicles, this changes the spawn priority when requesting them through the radio options. Army trucks are the most likely to spawn, then modern trucks and SUVs, which to me are the most useful, but you can adjust this to your liking later.

- New names and descriptions for game map and journal.

- New vehicles added through replacement, the Ford Expedition SUV, the Ford E-350 Econoline Ambulance, and the new Army Truck introduced in LifeLine (with a SUL twist, of course), now available for Breakdown and Story mode.

THE CARS:

- Chevrolet Silverado - White & Caterpillar Edition (modern truck)

- 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 (High-End Exotic)

- 1969 Dodge Charger - General Lee - 1978 & Firebird Trans Am Special Edition (Old-School Muscle w/Style)

- VW Golf Mk3 GTI Rally (Old Rally Hatchback) & Volkswagen Golf Mk3 - Hello Kitty Edition (Old Hatchback)

- 1960 Ford F100 NORMA - Hot rod Edition (Old Pickup)

- Black & White Police Car (Old Police Cruiser)

- Sports Sedan - Racing Edition (Old Modern Sedan)

- 2005 Ford Expedition - Light Brown / Light Grey (old green and red Station Wagons)

- 1989 Ford E-350 Econoline Ambulance (old Pizza Hatchback)

- New Army Truck - SUL Edition.

INVENTORY SLOTS:

  • Army Truck & Chevrolet Silverado = 12
  • Ford E-350 Econoline Ambulance = 11
  • Ford F100 NORMA = 10
  • Ford Expedition SUV = 9
  • Station Wagon = 8
  • Crown Victoria Police Cruiser & Crown Victoria Taxi = 6
  • Sports Sedan - Racing Edition = 5

Installation Notes:

Easy peasy, just extract Game.rar and merge or put the 3 folders (libs, objects, scripts) inside your own game folder ...\State of Decay\Game\
That's it!

Obviously, if there's any overlapping with old files or other mods, you should back up everything before installing and then replace everything to your liking.

MUSCLE CAR RIMS ISSUE:

The "1978 - Firebird Trans Am Special Edition" and the "1969 Dodge Charger - General Lee" share the same wheels, so you can't have both at the same time because only one of them will have the correct wheel pattern.

The mod comes with BFGoodrich and silver rims for all vehicles, but if you want to change this extract the content of Muscle Car Rims.rar and replace the file "musclecar_variant.mtl" of your liking inside ...\Game\objects\vehicles\musclecar\

What goes where and does what:

There's 3 folder inside the Game Folder:

  • libs: That folder contains the vehicles.win.bmd file, there you can change the description of each vehicle, the weight, and the number of inventory slots. Changing the weight doesn't mean the actual weight of the car, but the spawn priority when requesting a vehicle through the radio options. The vehicles you like the most should have higher weights than the rest, (from 0 to 100). I added the vehicles.xml and the xml2bmd.exe, so you can assign your own weights at your liking. In my original configuration Army trucks are the most likely to spawn, then modern trucks and SUVs.

  • objects: Inside that folder you will find all the texture files, which change the look of the vehicles.

  • scripts: It contains the scripts for all the vehicles, those files control all the different aspects of the model, handling, sounds,
durability, acceleration, and many more things.

Inside the main file you will also find the "Muscle Car Rims.rar" in case you want to change rims; and "vehicles.xml & xml2bmd.rar" in case you want to modify the number of inventory slots and weights to your liking. (Just edit the vehicles.xml file and when you're done drop it on top of the xml2bmd.exe and it will create a .bmd version, then replace it inside your "libs" folder inside your Game folder.)

*UPDATE - APRIL 11, 2015*

There was a bug with the "sportssedan_white.xml" replacement file for the Army Truck that locked the NPCs to the side of the truck whenever they tried to climb on the bed.

I uploaded a fix with contains the new file, just extract and merge the new "Game" folder with yours, or manually replace the new "sportssedan_white.xml" file inside "/xml" folder.

* THIS ONLY APPLIES FOR THOSE WHO DOWNLOADED THE OLD "SUL VEHICLE PACK 2015. RAR" VERSION 1.0

Sorry for the inconvenience.

*UPDATE - MAY 13, 2015 - YOSE FIX*

A member called RubbeRNL posted this fix on the original thread at the UL Forums.

https://forums.undeadlabs.com/threads/sul-backfromthedead-ultimate-car-pack-2015-with-new-army-truck.47763/page-3

Just extract and merge with your Game folder, replacing the old files.

(I can't actually test this because I don't have YOSE so please comment if you run into any issues.)

Many thanks to RubbeRNL for this fix. Enjoy!

*ORIGINAL .xml FILE ADDED MAY 15, 2015.*

This is the YOSE fix original .xml file, you don't need to install this file, it's just for those who want to mod it themselves and change values regarding cargo space and all that.

Just edit the vehicles.xml file and when you're done drop it on top of the xml2bmd.exe and it will create a .bmd version, then replace it inside your "libs" folder inside your Game folder.
