About this mod

Simply mod that make the driving more FUN and less ARCADE (For Story, Breakdown and Lifeline)
- Car now are much more faster and have a realistic handling
- Car have more cargo space
- You can add two new cars at the game: Ambulance and Sport SUV

Simple mod that make the driving more realistic, fun and  smoother:
For Story mode, Breakdown and Lifeline

  • Increased Top speed to all cars, especially on sports cars!!
  • Rework Acceleration and Decceleration: Vastly decreased automatic brakes when you release acceleration button
  • Increased crash damage resistance to counter the increased speeds
  • Adjusted Grip: Now not all cars can run a bend without losing grip!!
  • Added a varying degree of stiffness to the suspension especially on sports cars
  • Tweaked Gravity and weights: No more Paper Plane effects!!
  • Driving redone: Now each car have is own driving style.. Enjoy ;)!
  • Add a min Speed drive without pressing any key: Help to drive slow in close space or in the street of city with the sport cars!
  • Edit stats of each vehicles with the new driving params


Reworked the drive: Each car will react differently

  • Hatchback modern -> Front-Wheel Drive
  • Hatchback Rally -> All-Wheel Drive
  • Hatchback Pizza -> Front-Wheel Drive
  • Ambulance -> All-Wheel Drive
  • High-End Exotic -> Rear-Wheel Drive
  • Old Muscle -> Rear-Wheel Drive
  • Modern PickUp (All) -> All-Wheel Drive
  • Military Jeep -> All-Wheel Drive
  • Old PickUp -> Rear-Wheel Drive
  • Police Cruiser -> Front-Wheel Drive
  • Taxi -> Front-Wheel Drive
  • Sport Sedan -> Rear-Wheel Drive
  • Statio Wagon -> All-Wheel Drive
  • Sport SUV -> All-Wheel Drive

Increased inventory Slot:

  • Modern Pick UP (all)-> 12 Slot
  • Ambulance (add)->    12 Slot
  • Old Pick UP ->   10 Slot
  • Station Wagon (all) ->8 Slot
  • Sport SUV (add) ->      8 Slot
  • Taxi & Police -> 6 Slot
  • Hatchback (all)- >      4 Slot
  • Modern Sedan (all) -> 4 Slot
  • Sport Cars (all) ->       2 Slot



Add 3 flavorus that allow you to add 2 new cars: Sport SUV or Ambulance or both of them!!
Check the "Add new Cars" folder inside Vehicles Redone ^^!


- HOW TO INSTALL:

1) Open the "vehicles Redone" folder
2) Copy and replace the "Game" folder in: "..Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\"
3) Overwrite the new file!!

- HOW TO UNINSTALL:
1) Go in the base game directory "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\scripts\entities"
2) Simply delette the "Vehicles" folders.
3) DO THIS STEP ONLY IF YOU HAVE ADDED SOME OF THE NEW CARS:
  • Go in the base game directory "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\objects"
  • Simply delette the folder "vehicles"


After uninstalled the "Vehicles Redone Mod", if you want to keep the fixed cargo capacity you must overwrite the file inside "Uninstall" folder 

FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH ANY MOD THAT DON'T EDIT VEHICLES.WIM.BMD AND *MAIN CAR*.XML FILES

I left some notes on how to edit the values and their past Default setting inside each .xml file. Allows anyone to create their own "Driving Mod".
