Gamepass players
have to manualy install to Docs\My Games\Starfield\Data
Steam players
Can use either:
- Vortex
- MO2
Please make sure that you have either:
- disabled Docs\My Games\Starfield\Data
- Or made a link from that path to your game installation directory
Of course you will need to have the invalided archive setting:
First:
- %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Starfield\StarfieldCustom.ini
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=-------------------

Second:
For steam users.
Make sure you have your %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data linked to your actual GameDir/Data
To do so:
- Right click on the Windows Logo / Star Menu
- File-Explorer
- Browse to: %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Starfield
- Copy the full path
- Rename the Data directory to something like Data.org
- Select: Console (Admin)
- Type: cd "right click to paste"
- hit enter, obviously
- mklink /D Data "path/to/installed/starfield/data"
- hit enter, obviously
- Gratulations, you are set now
