I've been working on this for the past couple of days. With trial and error, much sprite editing and animation testing, I'm proud to announce my first race mod for Starbound... the Kangaru race!

INSTALL

1. Go to your Starbound installions mod directory (eg default location -> C:Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Starbound/mods).
2. Extract the contents of "kangaru.zip" in to the mods folder (make sure the folder structure is mods/kangaru and not mods/kangaru/kangaru).
3. If you're currently using or planning to use a character creation screen extender, you need to go in to mods/kangaru/interface/windowconfig folder and delete the charcreation.config file otherwise skip straight to step 4.
4. You've now installed the Kangaru race. Enjoy! :)

UNINSTALLING

Simply go to your Starbound mod directory and delete the kangaru folder.

NOTES

* Some things have been set to other races such as codex files (will be replaced in the future).
* Weapon/Armor/Furniture are planned further down the track.
* This is my first public mod and so note should be taken that conflictions with other mods might happen.

BUGS

* As with all updates that have been released, there is a chance the code in the game will be adjusted/changed that could cause this mod to break. I will try to keep on top of this but please be patient till it's fixed.
