S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL
HOT FILES
Weather and Gameplay Tweaks v1.1
A mod that improves gameplay and graphics, making SHoC look as good and play even better than its sequels.
STALKER Complete 2009 (1.4.4)
If you havent played 2007s most immersive and atmospheric shooter, or youre back for replay, this mod is for you. This is the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. like youve never seen before, with updated graphics and added functionality that dont change the original story or gameplay. The game hasnt been changed beyond reco
Atlas (Spawn Menu) Mod (1.1)
What's New?:

-Split the menu into three parts. Press F1 to open the entity spawning menu, F2 for items, and F3 for ammo.

-Quantity consoles, just enter the value of items or ammo you want to spawn, no more fixed values for ammo.

-2 new seperate spawnable monsters, (rat and ghost).

-A total of 12 new skins, (3 zombie, 1 chimera, 1 burer, 1 boar, 1 dog, 1 pseudo-giant, 3 rat, 1 ghost). Keep in mind that I only use skins found in SHoC, which means NO custom content.

-Tweaked speeds of some cut-out monsters to remove 'skating' effect.

-Fixed monster game relations and changed SHoC's NPC detection for Clear Sky's. You can remove "game_relations.ltx" and "m_stalker.ltx" if you don't want want them.

-Minor cut-out monster rebalancing.
Stalker Weight Mod (v1.0 for v1.0006)
Just a weight mod. Pretty simple to make. I changed the max weight limit from 50 to 500 and the Max walk weight limit from 70 to 700.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Weather Overhauled (3.1)
QUOTE

After ~1 year of break I'm finally back to finish up the most advanced, stand-alone weather mod for SoC.

This is the effect of my 3.5 year experience in this field and everything that I've learned thru this time is implemented to acheive best possible effect both - technically and visually.

Please enjoy the new SWO - my final nad best entry to the SoC modding scene.

Trojanuch

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Features:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- dynamic weather system, composed of 7 unique 24h cycles - every single day in-game is differen weather-wise

- fully implemented sun (and moon) flares - both perfeclty matching sky texture

- almost all sky textures from SHOC, CS and StalkerSkies pack used. All of them hand-reedited to achieve the best quality skies in SoC ever!

- smart dynamic scheme creating random yet realistic weather condition chains - no awkward 'weather jumps' form clear to storm - all changes are fluid with clouds gathering at fist before the rain starts

- as always: sunrise and sunset timezone synchronization (Kiev, 01.05.2012) and semi-real, east-west sun arch (sun rises in the east and sets in the west)

- best graphical quality achievable in SoC (3+ years of SoC weather editing experience)

- available in 2 versions: BASIC (weather related features only) or FULL (incl. Ambient Audio Overhaul, Particle Enhancement v3 and other addons)

- fully compatibile with Oblivion Lost v2.2 (via included comp-pack) and Priboy Story v1.1 (just install on top)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Changelog:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

v3.0

v3.1

- fixed a lot of various bugs reported by users

- switched shader support to Sky4CE 2.0 / tweaked weather to fit SSAO (was 1.8)

- made sun flares finally look properly for all presets (used to look baloon-like for clear presets before)

- completely revampled night and moon appearence

    Staff Picks - 26 April 2017

    posted by BlindJudge Feature
Another week, another set of staff picks and we have a few good survival mods + a handy tweak to the controls of Skyrim.

SirSalami has decided that he would like to cook his meat in front of all the patrons within a pub/tavern, I have decided I would like to cook my meat in the privacy of my own blocky home, and Robbie922004 has decided he wants to survive by being 100% accurate in battles within Morrowind - okay tenuous link there, but still, gave it my best shot. Terrorfox on the other hand has chosen a mod to allow him to use mouse, keyboard and controller at the same time. If you have any ...(continue reading the full article)

Our community still continues to provide us with great choices, this week we have a pick for a fixed UI within FONV and a quest mod with an awesome name. Check them all out.

    We're Hiring: Web Developer Positions

    posted by Dark0ne Feature
We're happy to report that both positions listed in this article have now been filled. As such, please don't send us your CV unless you are interested in us keeping it on record for when we are next looking to hire.

We’re looking for two mid-level to senior web developers to join our team at our new office in Exeter, UK. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with experience working on high traffic websites.

    The Role

You’d be joining our established web team which currently consists of 3 programmers whose primary responsibility is the Nexus Mods website and everything around it. Our stack ...(continue reading the full article)

Blog Piece: We're getting an office, and we're hiring

    posted by Dark0ne Feature
Hello! long time, no...boring you with my long blog pieces.

We're about to post up a news article about us looking to hire two new web programmers. Unlike our previous hire-calls, however, this one is different because it comes with the caveat that the job is based in Exeter, in the south west of England. Why? Because we're setting up an office. Our first office.

Revealing such news comes as bitter-sweet to me. For the past 15 years Nexus Mods (and the names it previously operated under) has been run from bedrooms, dorm rooms, campus computer rooms and home offices. It's been a success story up ...(continue reading the full article)

    Staff Picks - 22 Mar 2017

    posted by BlindJudge Feature
This week we're back with some more staff and community picks. I am really pleased to see a submission for a game other than those from the Bethesda series with Minqmay picking one from Legend of Grimrock. SirSalami has this week turned his attention towards a really nice armour mod, Terrorfox1234 has chosen one to help with your sometimes incredibly stupid companions and I have gone back to my childhood and chosen a mod to put posters on the walls.

    The Sunday Discussion - Robbie922004

    posted by BlindJudge Interviews
This week I got to chat with Robbie922004, a mod author who primarily creates mods for Skyrim, though has been known to tinker in Fallout 4. Robbie started his Steam game collection even before owning a gaming PC and began creating mods, like many, to fix things that he discovered weren't quite up to his taste in the vanilla game.

Hey Robbie and welcome to the Sunday discussion, would you mind letting our community know a little bit about you?

Thanks very much for having me. Unsurprisingly, my name is Robbie. I’m 24 years old, and I’m from Maryland in the United States, on the East Coast for ...(continue reading the full article)
