-=Description=-

I thought it might be fun to try and come up with my own set of animal textures for Skyrim SE, rather than mix and match other peoples textures for my own personal use like I did with oldrim. I had planned on waiting until I had a lot more animals completed before releasing, but I started to worry that maybe I could be going down a rabbit hole that could end up with thousands of hours work creating textures that only I liked hehe, so I have decided to switch to a more periodical release.

(Update after 7 or so months of this mod being hidden in hopes that I would get this more complete: in this case extremely periodically, no idea if / when I will do any more, sorry)

-=Animals=-

Having struggled with hair and fur textures in skyrim for years I am slowly starting to find new ways of getting results that are a bit more natural and less harsh looking to my eyes than vanilla... I'm not saying I feel these are anywhere near where I want them to be, just I need to draw a line in the sand somewhere I think, and hopefully get some nice critiques or tips :).

-=Spiders=-

I always found the spiders in skyrim to be too bright and garish to be truly scary so I set about working on the shudder factor by darkening them heavily and introduced reflections to make them a bit slimier / beetle looking maybe. I could probably go creepier than these textures, but for now they are the appropriate level of scary for me on a dark night or in a cave ;)

The only non-texture/mesh visual mod should be Vivid Weathers, ENB is disabled and I'm resisting the urge to use lighting overhauls for now. Check files I endorse or ask in comments if there's something you are after.

-=Texture Formats=-

I am using BC7 for textures with alphas, BC6H for anything that is just RGB since it is 16bit / channel baby :)
