Multistage perks now level or "rank up" automatically. You'll only need spend 1 perk point on a multistage perk, where you would have needed to spend 2 to 5 perks before.
I've made some of the single-stage perks into multistage perks that ranks up automatically too.

Multistage perks now level up or "rank up" automatically. You'll only need spend 1 perk point on multistage perks, where you would have needed to spend 2 to 5 perk points before.
I've made a lot of the single-stage perks into multistage perks that rank up automatically too.

This mod doesn't add any new perks, it just improves the vanilla perks. Which mean it is safe to install/uninstall at any time.

If you spent 2 or more perk points on vanilla multi-perks (expensive perks), you won't get those perk points back*. If you want to have those perk points back, consider these - Perk Point Book or 
Ish's Respec Mod

*all the vanilla multi-perks (expensive perks) are still there, they are just hidden and have no effect & will return if you decide to uninstall.

Compatibilities

Any other perk/skill tree overhaul will NOT be compatible. I didn't change any of the perk effects in Smithing or Lockpicking so a mod that only covers these should be compatible.
I think there are a few Smithing Perk Overhaul, and I don't see how they would conflict, so long as it doesn't touch any of the perks below.

Multistage perks will rank up as you gain experience in the parent skill tree. The amount of experience needed varies. All perks say how much experience you need in order to reach the last perk stage. There are over 50 Skill Advancing perks.

When you "buy" a multistage perk you start at stage 1 (which gives the least effect).

Smithing

No changes to effects. Compatible with mods that edit the Smithing perks.


Heavy Armor

  • Juggernaut - Heavy armors are 20% to 100% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Heavy Armor. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Heavy Armor level 100.

  • Cushioned - 50% to 90% less damage from falling if wearing Heavy Armor on chest, hands & feet. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Heavy Armor. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Heavy Armor level 100.

  • Matching Set - 25% to 50% armor bonus if wearing three pieces of Heavy Armor, if they are all made from the same material. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Heavy Armor. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Heavy Armor level 100.

  • Tower of Strength - 50% to 75% less stagger when wearing only Heavy Armor. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Heavy Armor. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Heavy Armor level 80.

  • Well Fitted - 25% to 50% armor bonus if wearing Heavy Armor on chest, hands & feet. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Heavy Armor. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Heavy Armor level 60.


Block

  • Shield Wall - Blocking is 10% to 50% more effective. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Block. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Block level 100.

  • Deadly Bash - Bashing does 500% to 700% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Block. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Block level 100.

  • Elemental Protection - Blocking with a shield reduces incoming fire, frost, and shock damage by 50% to 100%. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Block. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Block level 80.


Two-Handed

  • Barbarian - Two-handed weapons do 20% to 100% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Two-Handed. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Two-Handed level 100.

  • Champion's Stance - Power attacks with two-handed weapons cost 25% to 50% less stamina. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Two-Handed. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Two-Handed level 50.

  • Deep Wounds - Greatsword attacks have 10% to 20% chance of doing critical damage. Critical damage also increases as the perk ranks up. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Two-Handed. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Two-Handed level 90.

  • Limbsplitter - Battleaxe attacks cause bleeding damage. They cause even more bleeding damage as you rank up. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Two-Handed. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Two-Handed level 90.

  • Skullcrusher - Warhammer attacks ignore 25% to 75% of armor. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Two-Handed. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Two-Handed level 90.


One-Handed

  • Armsman - One-handed weapons do 20% to 100% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in One-Handed. Five ranks in total. Final rank at One-Handed level 100.

  • Bladesman - Sword attacks have 10% to 20% chance of doing critical damage. Critical damage also increases as the perk ranks up. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in One-Handed. Three ranks in total. Final rank at One-Handed level 90.

  • Bone Breaker - Mace attacks ignore 25% to 75% of armor. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in One-Handed. Three ranks in total. Final rank at One-Handed level 90.

  • Dual Flurry - Dual wielding attacks are 20% to 40% faster. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in One-Handed. Two ranks in total. Final rank at One-Handed level 50.

  • Fighting Stance - Power attacks with one-handed weapons cost 25% to 50% less stamina. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in One-Handed. Two ranks in total. Final rank at One-Handed level 50.

  • Hack and Slash - Axe attacks cause bleeding damage. They cause even more bleeding damage as you rank up. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in One-Handed. Three ranks in total. Final rank at One-Handed level 90.


Archery

  • Overdraw - Bows do 20% to 100% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Archery. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Archery level 100.

  • Critical Shot - Bow attacks have 10% to 20% chance of doing critical damage. Critical damage also increases as the perk ranks up. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Archery. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Archery level 90.

  • Eagle Eye - Pressing Block while aiming will zoom in your view. Uses less stamina as you rank up. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Archery. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Archery level 90.

  • Quick Shot - Can draw a bow 30% to 60% faster. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Archery. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Archery level 100.

  • Steady Hand - Zooming in with a bow slows time by 50% to 75%. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Archery. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Archery level 60.


Light Armor

  • Agile Defender - Light armors are 20% to 100% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Light Armor. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Light Armor level 100.

  • Custom Fit - 25% to 50% armor bonus if wearing Light Armor on chest, hands & feet. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Light Armor. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Light Armor level 60.

  • Matching Set - 25% to 50% armor bonus if wearing three pieces of Light Armor, if they are all made from the same material. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Light Armor. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Light Armor level 100.

  • Wind Walker - Stamina regenerates 50% to 100% faster if wearing Light Armor on chest, hands & feet. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Light Armor. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Light Armor level 100.


Sneak

  • Stealth - You are 20% to 100% harder to detect when sneaking. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Sneak. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Sneak level 100.

  • Deadly Aim - Sneak attacks with bows do four times damage. Was three time damage.

  • Muffled Movement - Noise from armor is reduced 50% to 90%. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Sneak. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Sneak level 90.


Lockpicking

No changes to effects. Compatible with mods that edit the Lockpicking perks.


Pickpocket

  • Cutpurse - Pickpocketing gold is 50% to 75% easier. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Pickpocket. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Pickpocket level 70.

  • Extra Pockets - Carrying capacity is increased by 100 to 200. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Pickpocket. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Pickpocket level 90.

  • Night Thief - Pickpocketing is 25% to 50% easier when the target is asleep. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Pickpocket. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Pickpocket level 60.


Speech

  • Haggling - Buying and selling prices are 10% to 50% better. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Speech. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Speech level 100.

  • Master Trader - Every merchant in the world gains 5000 gold for bartering. Was 1000 gold.


Alchemy

  • Alchemist* - Potions and poisons you make are 20% to 100% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you level up. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Character level 40.

  • Benefactor - Potions you mix with beneficial effects have an additional 25% to 50% greater magnitude. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 60.

  • Concentrated Poison - Poisons applied to weapons last for two to three times as many hits. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 90.

  • Experimenter - Eating an ingredient reveals two to all of the effects. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 100.

  • Green Thumb - Harvest two to three ingredients from ingredient sources. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 100.

  • Physician - Potions you mix that restore Health, Magicka or Stamina are 25% to 50% more powerful. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 50.

  • Poisoner - Poisons you mix are 25% to 50% more effective. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 60.

  • Snakeblood - Resist 50% to 100% of poisons. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alchemy. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Alchemy level 100.


Illusion

  • Animage - Illusion spells used on animals are 50% to 100% stronger, making them work on higher level animals. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Illusion. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Illusion level 60.

  • Kindred Mage - Illusion spells used on people are 50% to 100% stronger, making them work on higher level animals. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Illusion. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Illusion level 80.

  • Hypnotic Gaze - Calm spells are 50% to 100% stronger, making them work on higher level opponents. Cumulative with Kindred Mage and Animage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Illusion. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Illusion level 70.

  • Aspect of Terror - Fear spells are 50% to 100% stronger, making them work on higher level opponents. Cumulative with Kindred Mage and Animage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Illusion. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Illusion level 90.

  • Rage - Frenzy spells are 50% to 100% stronger, making them work on higher level opponents. Cumulative with Kindred Mage and Animage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Illusion. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Illusion level 100.


Conjuration

  • Dark Souls - Reanimated undead have 100 to 200 points more health. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Conjuration. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Conjuration level 100.

  • Necromancy - Reanimated undead last 100% to 200% longer. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Conjuration. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Conjuration level 100.

  • Summoner - Can summon atronachs or raise undead 100% to 200% farther away. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Conjuration. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Conjuration level 90.


Destruction

  • Augmented Flames - Fire spells do 25% to 50% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Destruction. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Destruction level 60.

  • Augmented Frost - Frost spells do 25% to 50% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Destruction. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Destruction level 60.

  • Augmented Shock - Shock spells do 25% to 50% more damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Destruction. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Destruction level 60.

  • Rune Master - Can place runes five to eight times farther away. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Destruction. Four ranks in total. Final rank at Destruction level 100.


Restoration

  • Avoid Death - Once a day, heals 500 points automatically if your health falls below 10%. Was 250 points.

  • Recovery - Magicka regenerates 25% to 50% faster. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Restoration. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Restoration level 60.

  • Regeneration - Healing spells cure 50% to 100% more. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Restoration. Six ranks in total. Final rank at Restoration level 70.

  • Ward Absorb - Wards absorb 25% to 50% of incoming spells, recharging your magicka. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Conjuration. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Restoration level 90.


Alteration

  • Mage Armor - Protection spells like Stoneflesh are 100% to 200% stronger if not wearing armor. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alteration. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Alteration level 70.

  • Magic Resistance - Blocks 10% to 30% of magical damage. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alteration. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Alteration level 70.

  • Stability - Alteration spells last 50% to 100% longer. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Alteration. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Alteration level 100.


Enchanting

  • Enchanter - New enchantments are 20% to 100% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Five ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 100.

  • Corpus Enchanter - Health, Magicka & Stamina enchantments are 25% to 50% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 90.

  • Fire Enchanter - Fire enchantments are 25% to 50% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 50.

  • Frost Enchanter - Frost enchantments are 25% to 50% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 60.

  • Insightful Enchanter - Skill enchantments are 25% to 50% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 70.

  • Soul Siphon - Death blows to creatures, animals, undead & dragons trap 5% to 10% of the victim's soul, recharging the weapon. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 80.

  • Soul Squeezer - Soul gems provide 100% to 200% extra magicka for recharging. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Three ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 80.

  • Storm Enchanter - Shock enchantments are 25% to 50% stronger. Ranks up automatically as you gain experience in Enchanting. Two ranks in total. Final rank at Enchanting level 70.

Notes

I also changed Bestial Strength from the Lycanthropy (werewolf) skill tree. With Bestial Strength you do 50% more damage as a werewolf. Was a multistage perk that used up 4 perk points.

Helmets are not required for Cushioned, Well Fitted, Matching Set, Reflect Blows, Custom Fit, Wind Walker & Deft Movement. These perk are from the Heavy Armor & Light Armor skill trees. 

Also fixed a few vanilla bugs, nothing serious.
