-Description-

So I was exploring Whiterun one day when I realized something, if Whiterun is the center of trade in Skyrim then why is the palace kinda...boring? It needs more! That's where this mod comes in. Especially Special Dragonsreach is the second installment in my series of mods that focus on altering the major places in Skyrim by revamping them and making them all a bit more exciting.

Now thieves can sneak into the grand palace in more than just one way! The dungeon area looks a bit more..."dungeon-y" and there is much more light on the grounds. Also, Skyrim is in the time of Civil War, right? We need a bit more protection then, so I've added some archer perches and a draw-gate to the mix. Now Dragonsreach is more worthy of exploration and admiration.

As with all my mods, this is lore-friendly, out-of-the-way, and compatible with most mods out there! If you ever find yourself asking if this mod is compatible with another mod, all you need to know is whether or not my mod and the other mod in question do the same thing. If the answer is yes then they most likely are not compatible. There are exceptions to this rule, however, so if you are to the point where you have no idea whether it's a yes or no, just ask in the "Posts" section and me or someone else will be happy to help.

-F.A.Q-

Q: Is this mod lore-friendly?
A: Of course, my mods are always lore-friendly!

Q: Will this crash my game?
A: It shouldn't! If it does please let me know in the "Posts" section.

Q: Is it compatible with [insert mod here]?
A: So long as the mods in question doesn't add anything that interferes with the additions I've made! My mods are made to be out-of-the-way, so even if you're asking about an overhaul mod such as "JK's Skyrim", then everything should be fine, but I make no promises. If anything is interfering with another mod, please let me know so I can fix it!

Q: Why don't I see much of a change?
A: Because you may typically have to look for it! As I usually say in the description, I like for my mods to be out-of-the-way, meaning that they are usually subtle changes. This is on purpose, though, as I like for all my mods to try and maintain that vanilla feel while adding a little something for everyone.

Q: Is it compatible with ENB?
A: Of course! All this mod does is add stuff to a specific environment so you should have no problems with an ENB in the slightest.

Q: Can I re-upload your mod after changing it to my liking?
A: I don't usually do that much modding, and considering I'm a fairly novice modder all I typically do is add small stuff here and there to the game. If you want to edit my mods to your liking then you absolutely have the right, but if you are going to upload it I simply ask that you at least credit me somewhere in the description. Thanks in advance!

Q: What are your plans for future mods?
A: As I said above, I don't usually do much modding so I play with the Creation Kit when I have the time and desire. I plan on working on plenty of other areas out there to add to my "Especially Special" collection, but for now I don't exactly have a specific release date in mind. Stay tuned!

Q: Will you release any of your mods on console?
A: I guess if enough people ask for this then yes, but for now I don't feel like going through the trouble of doing so!

-Change Log-

Version 2.0.0* - This version is a total overhaul of the original
-Added a draw-gate to the front entrance (idea courtesy of WBizzyW)
+If the gate is up when you initially walk up to the entrance to the Dragonsreach courtyard, there is a "fail-safe" button to the left behind the small waterfall.
-Added several trees to the courtyard as well as various other decorations
-Changed the look of some of the scaffolding on the building
-Fixed some small bugs here and there
*As a side note, this version adds quite a bit to the Dragonsreach courtyard, therefore it is most likely going to interfere with JK's Whiterun a little, if a patch is needed I will look into collaborating with JK (or whomever is managing his mods at that point) and make a patch of some sort. Other than that, this should be compatible with all other mods.//

Version 2.0.1
-Fixed a problem where the model for certain objects had been replaced by the model of ladders. (Special thanks to KyleThePale for bringing this to my attention)

-Credits and Thanks-
I want to thank Bethesda Game Studios for releasing Skyrim and supporting us, the players, in the modification of it.
