About this mod

This mod allows combination of basic potions at the cooking pot, as well as tweaking several food recipes for OCD Purposes.

Permissions and credits
Primarily, this mod allows the player to combine lower level potions at a cooking station to create higher level ones if they have the relevant Alchemy perk.   For instance, with the first Alchemy perk you can combine three of the lowest Healing, or Stamina, or Magicka potions to get a 1 of the next level higher.   You can also combine some of the resist potions or poisons to make more powerful ones.  In addition, I've also a couple of new items you can make.  Unfortunately I don't know how to do this with player-made alchemy items yet.  They use different recipes, which I haven't figured out.

Secondarily, recipes for food have been altered to make the ingredients more logical.  No more salt is needed for what is basically just some piece of critter roasted over a fire.  Some new recipes have been added for basic items that were missing.  For fans of the Vilja companion mod, now you can make your own Skeever-tail soup.  :)

Lastly, most recipes for food or potions have been altered so that if you don't have the primary ingredient in your inventory, you wont see the greyed out listing when you open up the cook-pot.  I always hated scrolling past all the stuff I couldn't make just to find the few things I could.  For instance, if you don't have any 25 point healing potions in your inventory, you wont see the things you could make if you had them.  If you don't have any flour, you wont see the listings for bread and so forth.  A few recipes have been deliberately excluded from this where it wasn't so obvious what the best trigger ingredient was or to serve as a reminder of what to acquire.

I can't take sole credit for this mod.  It was exceptionally simple to make in the Creation Kit, but I wouldn't have learned how to do so without using mods like Realistic Needs & Diseases, Frostfall, and Hunterborn, and taking them apart to see what makes them tick.  Inspirational credit goes to to those who went before me and made a mod that was cool enough that I had to open it up in the CK and look at the nuts-and-bolts.

This mod is free for others to fold, spindle, mutilate, alter, or whatever they choose to do with it.  Crediting me for it in your work would be nice but is not necessary.  If anything, I hope it prompt's a few people to open up the CK and start tinkering.
