Unlocking Shouts Costs One Soul:
Description:
This mod unlocks the second and third words of power when learning it from a wall. Unlocking a shout now costs only one soul. This mod is designed for people using mods giving other uses to dragonsouls, or that have less dragons in their game, or who simply want to unlock shouts faster.
Features:
- Unlocking a shout costs one soul.
This means that you only have to unlock the first word to use the shout, and only have to use one soul per shout.
You still need to find the corresponding word walls to learn the second and third words.
This only works when learning a new word from a word wall, so this mod will NOT unlock words you learned before installing it.
- The Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch changes are forwarded.
Requirements & (Un)Installation:
You need Skyrim Special Edition V1.5.39 or above.
You need to install the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. You will crash on startup if you don't.
Installation as usual. Install with your favorite mod manager or manually in the data folder.
You can uninstall simply by removing the mod files (.esp and .bsa).
Compatibility & Load Order:
This mod is not compatible with any mod that changes the scripts used when learning a word of power, that is "WordWallTriggerScript.pex", "dlc1WordWallTriggerScript.pex" and "dlc2WordWallTriggerScript.pex".
This mod also replaces a USSEP script, "DBSanctuaryWordWallTriggerScript.pex".
Notes:
Some clarification about the "vocabulary" in Skyrim:
- "Learning a word" means standing in front of a word wall.
- "Unlocking a word" means spending a dragonsoul on it to be ale to use it.
