What this does
This mod applies the Valdacil's Item Sorting (currently supported version 3.0.3) mod, obviously by Valdacil, tags (such as [Ingredient] or [Food]) to the names of the items added by the Beasts of Tamriel mod (currently supported version 3.7) by SpikeDragonLord and jboyd4.

Two things of note:
  • There were some food keywords in the original mod that I thought were mistaken, such as raw food tag applied to a cooked food item and vice versa, and I've changed them.
  • I'm not 100% sure I've tagged the spells correctly, which is why the version of this patch is 0.9.0 and not 1.0.0, however, this shouldn't be a big deal (remember - it's only a tag, it doesn't break anything). I'm hoping SpikeDragonLord would check this out and make sure.

This mod should be easily merged into a Bashed Patch, and just as easily ghosted to not increase the esp load on your load order.

What this doesn't do
This mod does not modify literally anything other than the records of ALCH (food), AMMO (ammunition), BOOK (books), INGR (ingredients), MISC (miscelanneous items, mostly crafting stuff in this case), SPEL (spells) and WEAP (weapons) types added by the Beasts of Tamriel mod, which means that it shouldn't modify any of your cells, original items, quests, scripts, etc., etc.

Detailed Installation Notes
  • Download and install both Beasts of Tamriel and Valdacil's Item Sorting, if you didn't already.
  • Download this file via the
button to install it with Nexus Mod Manager or download this file via the
button and put the VISPatch-SA-BeastsOfTamriel.esp file into your Skyrim\Data directory (something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data).
  • Activate it with your mod manager of choice, be it the default one or the Nexus Mod Manager. Make sure it is below Beasts of Tamriel.esp in your load order.
  • (Optional) Make a Bashed Patch (refer to the description for another patch of mine for details for that step and the next one).
  • (Optional) Ghost the .esp file.
