DESCRIPTION
- All followers automatically start looting their surroundings after combat ends. They will search dead bodies, nearby chests and containers, as well as take items that are out in the open.
- A maximum of 20 followers are supported.
- After installing this mod, a new dialogue option will appear ("About looting...") when you talk with your follower. You must select this dialogue option before he/she can start looting.
- Select "Please start looting..." to configure your follower to loot one of the following:
- Armor, weapons and arrows
- Arrows and other bolts
- Armour
- Books
- Gold
- Ingredients
- Keys
- Misc. items (this includes gemstones, pelts, ingots, lockpicks and so on)[
- Plants
- Potions and other alchemical substances (like food)
- Weapons
- You can change this anytime when not in combat.
- You can also now order them to loot manually by using the "Loot Command" power. You cannot use this power when in combat or when they are already looting.
- By default followers will place items that they have looted in a separate inventory of their own, which you can access by selecting the option "I'd like to access your loot inventory". You can configure them to use their normal inventory as well.
- Followers can be configured to loot items that are equal to or below a weight/value ratio, which you can configure in the MCM. Default is 10 gold per weight. You can also set a minimum weight for items (they will take all items below this weight regardless of the weight/value ratio). This option is off by default as the follower will discard items he/she finds worthless, so be careful!
- It is recommended to use a unlimited follower mod as one single follower cannot loot everything in sight.
- To stop looting, sneak for 2-3 seconds.
NOTES
- Unique followers with custom voices unfortunately have no voiced dialogue (they still work though).
- A follower may tend to stay in one place or repeat the looting animation when they can't find any items to loot.
- Some followers may "steal" items when looting (this cannot be fixed - depends on the follower's morality) so it's not advisable to loot in towns
