About this mod

Overhauls most of Skyrim's NPCs and items to increase realism and balance the game. See below for details.

Permissions and credits
This mod consists of two separate files (EOL NPCs.esp & EOL Items.esp), which should be run together.

NPCs
Followers, Atronachs and enemies (including guards) level up with the player.
Followers have better, more unique skillsets that also level up (e.g. spells get stronger with level).
Enemies have more balanced, lore-friendly, levelling skillsets and spells; particularly Dragon Priests and named bosses.
There are a few more varieties of dragon to encounter, with various breath attacks (acid, lightning etc.).
Some enemy names have been tweaked to make their rank and power more obvious (e.g. Draugr, Vampires).
NPCs have more appropriate lore-friendly clothing and skills
(e.g. Priests of Arkay have Restoration magic, court wizards and Housecarls wear colours appropriate to their hold, etc.).
Merchants have sellable items according to what they display in their stores
(e.g. butchers sell meat and animal produce such as skins, greengrocers sell veg and some alchemy ingredients, etc.)
Creatures drop more realistic items on death (e.g. ghosts drop ectoplasm only, wolves don't carry jewellery!).
Certain NPCs have their combat class modded to be more suited to their character.
More NPCs can be married if you complete their quests (e.g. Ingun Black-Briar).
Timescale adjusted to 10 (time passes more slowly).

HINT: Brand-Shei in Riften sells goods from Solstheim, even before the Dragonborn quest is active.

Items
Starting carry limits more realistic (i.e. much lower). Stronger races (e.g. Orcs, Vampires) have better carry limits.
Weaker races (e.g. Altmer) have lower carry limits.
Item weights modified to real-world approximation in pounds (lbs).
Gold coins, lockpicks and keys have weight, even though they show on the menu as having 0 weight.
So if you're overloaded for no apparent reason, try offloading some gold.
[The above changes make strength potions, carry weight enchantments and mods such as the excellent Bandolier(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2417/?) much more viable].
Values of items modified to be more realistic. Gold, silver and jewels are much pricier.
Weapon damage, swing time and armour values modified to take into account hardness and weight of construction materials.
Sharper weapons (blades swords, ebony weapons etc) have much higher chance of critical damage.
Divine Amulet enchantments and Divine Blessings are more lore-friendly and evenly balanced.
Potions have been renamed to allow ease of use (e.g. Health Potion 1* to 5*).
Cookery recipes more realistic.

HINT: Ebony weapons may not do much raw damage any more as they are so light, but they have a high chance of inflicting
critical hits, and when enchanted well they can potentially inflict the highest DpS (damage per second) of any weapon class.

Install
=======
Manual Install
--------------
**You will need all official DLC (Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn) installed to run this mod**
Extract this archive to any folder and then copy the contents to SSE's Data folder.
When opening skyrim's launch menu, select Mods and tick both parts of the Mod ("EOL NPCs" & "EOL Items").
Move them to the bottom of the load order (EOL Items last).
Play, enjoy.

LOOT users: I have it on good authority that using LOOT moves the mods too far up the load order. Unfortunately I have no idea how to rectify that (suggestions on the comments page or by PM welcome) so you'll have to move them down manually. Remember that EOL Items should go last.

Uninstall
---------
Simply delete the .esp files.

Conflicts
---------
None known that cause the game to crash, but be wary when running other mods that affect NPCs or items. Please let me know if any bugs are found.
I've playtested this mod for many hours and have had no serious problems, even with the USSEP running.
Please note that the items part of the mod will NOT affect the weights/damage output of any non-canon weapons etc. added by seperate mods.
The items mod may also flag up minor conflicts with other custom mods that affect items in some way, but shouldn't cause crashes. Just remember that the load order determines which has priority. I can't possibly make this mod compatible with everything, so please bear with me :)

Latest update (v1.4)
----------------------
Updated certain NPC skillsets, race heights (lore-friendly) and enemy ranks (Bandits, Dawnguard).
Various minor fixes.

Next update (v1.5)

Removing timescale adjustment, separating it into an optional file.
